I would give Carrie and her team 6 stars if I could. Although my order was not a big one (my now husband and I eloped), it was somewhat last minute and she not only accepted my order but went above and beyond my expectations. She absolutely nailed what I was looking for. My arrangements (bouquet, boutonnière, and hair piece) were delivered to the salon where I got my hair and makeup done, and people could not stop commenting on how incredibly gorgeous they were. Dutch Bloemen Winkel provided all of the flowers and center pieces for our rustic outdoor wedding with 200+ guests in Bartlett, NH. What I saw on my wedding day completely took my breath away. We had a beautiful arbor decorated with tumbling wild flowers to get married under, farm tables impeccably decorated with wildflowers and tea lights.. everywhere I looked there were just little touches I would never have even thought of myself. It was beyond anything I could have ever imagined. Not only on our wedding day was everything perfect, but from our first meeting with Carrie on we felt like we were in good hands. She helped us find an amazing wedding planner, the perfect baker, recommended a caterer after ours fell through at the last minute, and completely put my mind at ease and got our wedding back on track! My needs for two arrangements were not that complex but one was a bit unusual (in that some colors are reportedly not always easily or readily available). And there was plenty of lead time before the required delivery date. But no other florist in the Conway area was interested! Go figure! I needed the arrangements delivered to a high-end North Conway Village restaurant; no florist I called before I found this one had ever heard of it, so maybe that's why the others said they were not interested. Delivery to a restaurant is not unusual IMHO, but not wanting to deliver an order to a restaurant you've never heard of IS (but maybe that's just me). Anyway, Dutch Bloemen Winkel was only concerned that they could confirm the address, which they did, and the two large arrangements were there awaiting us when we arrived (the restaurant had, of course, placed them on the large table in advance). The details of the arrangements and the flower selections (dictated by past history -- an inside joke among the parties) are not relevant for this review, but as I stated above, parts of one of them were a bit unusual. The desired details were met in every regard, perhaps because the person I spoke with on the phone to place the order seemed to know the florists' lingo (which I have learned over the years after some disappointing results from many florists in other locations). Importantly for people that might be reading this, the price was right: just slightly more than half of what I would have expected to pay at a high-end florist here in Houston TX. My order was perfectly executed and delivered on time and at a great price. The flowers were obviously very fresh since they remained essentially fresh for more than a week back in our room at the resort. Things could not have been any better. read more

To write that Carrie Scribner, owner of Dutch Bloemen Winkel, is a talented professional, doesn't even begin to cover the extent of her skills and imagination. My husband and I were married almost a year ago, but because we were overseas we could not celebrate properly. We decided to throw a party at the Notchland Inn in northern New Hampshire in Feb. 2012 and the innkeeper recommended Carrie. I feel so incredibly lucky to have found her. Our first meeting to discuss the event details was great - she listened very carefully to what I was hoping to do, was full of creative ideas, and was incredibly sweet throughout. In the coming weeks, we succeeded in sorting out all the details perfectly. She did an incredible* job with the flowers - every single bloom was at its peak and no detail was forgotten (from color and flower preferences, to the overall style I was going for, to the details around linens for the tables, candles incorporated into the arrangements, hangtags for the arrangements we gave to each of our guests... the list is a long one and she did every single part of it perfectly). I was floored - as were all of our guests. I can't recommend Dutch Bloemen Winkel enough. read more

Best florist in the area: excellent selection, patient, and eager to help. I ordered cut flowers from them for my wedding. I was planning to arrange the flowers myself, and other florists immediately lost interest when they heard this (cut flowers are almost at cost), but Carrie was unfazed. She spent an incredible amount of time reviewing my options, comparing photographs to confirm my OCD requests about color, and putting up with many changes to my order. Also many flowers in stock for browsing or buying on the spot. Highly recommended. read more

Carrie and her staff are well known for their talent with flowers and decorating wedding venues, etc. I always sing their praises to anyone who will listen, especially those I work with in the wedding industry. Today however, I felt the need to leave a review after a particularly helpful visit to their shop. I stopped in this morning looking for a small house-warming gift for a friend. I asked about a particular item I had purchased before and the staff member thought there might still be one in the basement stock room. She went to check but it was not obvious where it was so she took my name and number. They planned to look later in the day and would let me know if they found one. A few hours later and I received a text picture of the exact item I had been looking for! I couldn't have been more pleased to jump in the car and head back to the shop. Going that extra mile for the customer just made my day and hopefully will make the gift recipients day as well. Their floral talent is well known throughout the Mount Washington Valley but I just wanted to point out their customer service is exemplary as well. read more

Carrie is amazing! She helped me with my July wedding and her bouquets and other arrangements were perfect. I am not knowledgeable about flowers at all, and she was still able to help guide me towards a perfect garden style bouquet. I gave her a few pictures that I liked and she was able to create a perfect bouquet for me, while still incorporating some of her own creative additions. I still don't know the name of half the flowers in my bouquet, but it was perfect. She was the best vendor that I worked with during my wedding. If you get married in Jackson/Conway area...make sure you are on her calendar. read more
