Sample of the fat strips that ran through the center of our brisket (2-3 inches wide). Gross. Told to "get the hell" when we complained

I am 68 years old and never have I had a manager of any business especially a restaurant talk to me in the fashion that this manager talk to me this evening. My wife and I are snow birds and live in Margaritaville. we have enjoyed Dustins Ormand beach for the last 4 years. Well, this evening my wife and I ordered the Brisket. When it arrived, there was a 2 to 3 inch wide section of FAT running through the middle of meet. When we talked to the server I mention that brisket was good but As a manager I would never serve such a cut of beef. If anything, I would of given it to the workers or taken home but never serve it. He said the cook cut it thick to make up for it and that we got a lot more beef than usual. Look at the picture and you can see you can't cut any thinner. We ended up going back to the salad bar to fill up. $20/person and still hungry (and I'm on Majourno!). The server who was VERY PROFESSINAL asked if I wanted to speak to the manager and I said no need just let him know what I said. On my way out I notice another person with Brisket. Much more meat and A LOT LEANER ! So they had other cuts and didn't have to serve the fatty cuts, so I decided to say something to the manager. I told him exactly what I said to the server that the meat should never have been served, the Manager then responded by saying "where is the rest of the Brisket?" We said we ate it. He responded "oh so you eat it then come over here to complain" I said to server, "you tell him what I said to you please?" The manager responded "He don't need to explain Shit to me". So, this manager not only treats customers disrespect but also treats his employees with disrespect. I then showed him the picture of the fat we cut off the meat and said. you think many people will come here if I post this on line? The manager got angry and told me to get the hell out of the restaurant. I was so scared that he was going to come outside and attack me so I got out real fast. Please have the regional / district manager call me to discuss. This person is scary! I wish i can post a picture of the plate of fat we cut off the Brisket. It's Gross

Wow, we were really impressed with this place. We just moved to Ormond and this place was EVERYTHING we were looking for. The girl at the register was training a new hire and they were super friendly and walked me through the menu and all the sauces. 'BBQ' is the most expensive food in the world (besides sushi), but the prices were pretty cheap. $7 for a 1/2 lb of pulled pork, ribs and shrimp (fried in cornmeal) were excellent. Good sides and only $2.99 if you want to add one. Ribs had me in heaven. Nicely done guys. Old-school style place that ROCKS!!

Best damn baby back ribs in Florida. Absolutely love this place

Lunch special Slow smoked beef brisket, with ice tea of course. The lunch comes with a side and fries but I opted for the Salad bar because it look so Oh delicious! the spinach was fresh and a good selection that included onions, green pepper, black olives, banana pepper and more. Lol I should of just said Subway toppings. One think I didn't like was the choice of dressings. Didnt offer Italian or Caesar. My guess it doesn't go with the BBQ. Other than that service was great for as busy as it was and the brisket came right out. Brisket was perfect and I used the hot BBQ sauce and sweet for a perfect mix. Overall good experience for lunch.

First time trying Dustin's BBQ today. The atmosphere is like any other BBQ chain restaurant, barn like with southern style. Dustin's though is in need of renovation with a older carpet on the floor and older tables. As for the food it was ok at best. Tasted like a cheaper version of Sonny's or any other chain restaurant with hardly any seasoning. Not a horrible place but not a great place. The service was good but that's not enough for me to run back.

ALL the staff were welcoming & friendly when we came through the doors. Decided to sit at the bar. Our server was Carley and she was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Super engaging, friendly and accommodating. Alcohol-wine & beer only. There are 24 beers on tap. Constantly rotating their selections. My husband had their top selling sour & sampled their watermelon Kölsch. Both were very good. We started with their bbq egg rolls which was the draw to get us here. They didn't disappoint!! There was a special on their wings, which was $1.25 a wing no matter the count! We added those and got 6 to split. They were a little too over done, crispy & dry, they were just ok. Main meal; we decided to split the Triple B which came with two sides. We chose the deviled egg salad, baked beans & got some green beans too! Green beans were the best of the three. That burger was absolutely delicious. Juicy, cooked to perfection and on point with ALL the flavors. Sampled the fried ribs. Never experienced them this way and highly recommend! The Rose Villa Southern Table and Bar was not just the best place I visited on a recent stay in the Port Orange/Daytona area, it's one of the best places I've eaten period and all I did was lunch. We stopped in without reservations but they found space for us outside on the front porch. It was right after Christmas and I have rarely seen a restaurant do it better. Cotton in the trees and bushes to simulate snow, classic Holiday decor everywhere you looked. Every detail was amazing! Inside was like stepping into 19th century home that was elegant and regal. The only thing better than the atmosphere was the food. Our Pork Belly Bruschetta was elegantly presented and just melted in your mouth. Salty, sweet, robust, just incredible and a great recommendation from our waiter. My wife and I split the Shrimp Po Boy along with a Chicken sandwich and there were both just next level compared to anytime we've had these before. If you're in the area, if you're within an hour, if you want to do a day trip, build it around the Rose Villa Southern Table and Bar. I can't wait to try their dinner. and bring others to enjoy this truly top-notch dining experience. This is what dining out should be. I highly recommend you give them a try.

**OVERALL REVIEW**…read more Over the course of years since this location opened, I have visited Buc-ee's numerous times, stocking up on food, t-shirts, and miscellaneous paraphernalia doning the logo featuring Bucky the Beaver. Tangeant note: The most popular t-shirt from Pro-Wrestling Tees is a charicature of Bucky the Beaver featuring Ruby Soho (a.k.a. Ruby Riot). Throughout those years visiting Buc-ee's AND being a Yelp Elite, I have not written a review on them... until now. It is evident by my high-recommendational tone, this location is going to get five-out-of-five-star rating. Let me detail you, why. Though an address is provided, Buc-ee's located in Daytona Beach is one exit north of the exit that has the Daytona Speedway just eastward of I-95. Their sign, a side-view of Bucky the Beaver, is easily viewable from the road. You'll know to make your exit along with the numerous billboards leading up to it. At one time, this Buc-ee's was "the biggest in the United States." That claim can no longer be said, but it should be known that whenever a new Buc-ee's location opens, it always seems to be "the biggest" until the next one opens. On the outside, Buc-ee's lives up to its roots in Texas, because "everything is bigger in Texas" right? There are 104 gas pumps for civilian drivers as commercial trucks are no longer allowed to stay at Buc-ee's thanks to the number of disrespectful truck drivers causing a ruckus. And plenty of people can enjoy Buc-ee's as there are 700 to 750 parking spaces. With all the meat you'll be eating, it should be fine to add a couple more steps sitting afar from the store. If you never been to a Buc-ee's before, you'll be greeted by the strong, delicious scent of brisket. Buc-ee's will go through up to 200 whole briskets a day. That is a lot of briskets sandwiches. And that is just the brisket. There is chicken, beef, and other kinds of cooked meat made into sandwiches and tacos and such. Kolaches are of numerous flavors including a dessert one. Let's not forget the nuts and fudge and everything else in between. In short, there is so much Buc-ee's branded food, freshly made from their deli, bakery, and meat departments or pre-packaged in their grocery section. Sidenote: do not sleep on the Buc-ee's Nuggies and Beaver Nuggets. And to end this review, I have to push their claim of having the cleanest restrooms of any gas station ever. Buc-ee's lives up to their name as the restroom always has at least two janitors on staff for each restroom to clean the over 80 restroom stalls. Those janitors are like ninjas. Once you step out, they swoop in to clean. It also helps each stall has a red light/green light letting people know when one is occupied or not. I could go on-and-on-and-on on why this Buc-ee's gets a five-star rating, but I will simply give you my personal positive insight. The food was always delicious, the service was always kind, and I have bought so many physical items here, specifically t-shirts. And guess what? I will continue to add more shirts to my Buc-ee's collection. The only thing I can see changing is the frequency I go here. "If" the rumored location in Indrio Rd. opens up, it takes me less time to drive south to Fort Pierce than it does for me to drive north to Daytona Beach. Still, that does not take away that Buc-ee's in Daytona Beach is the first Buc-ee's I been to, and it made such an impact that I would purposely make the drive north just to go here.

The parking lot alone is wild, with what feels like endless gas pumps. Walking inside was a whole experience because I genuinely didn't know where to start. It's like HomeGoods and Wawa had a giant, chaotic, beautiful baby. I made my way through section by section, and there's a little bit of everything. I grabbed their BBQ brisket sandwich and Beaver Chips first--absolutely worth it. The brisket sandwich was ridiculously good, and they're pumping those things out fresh every few minutes. Their hot food menu isn't huge, but honestly, that works in their favor--simple, focused, and done well. I also tried the triple meat sandwich with brisket, turkey, and sausage. It costs a little more, but it's loaded, super filling, and definitely worth it if you're hungry. One of the coolest parts? The jerky section, where you can sample different options before buying. Somehow I even left with beard oil... because Buc-ee's is apparently the kind of place where that makes total sense. Loved Buc-ee's. It's more than a gas station--it's basically a road trip experience.

The quantity of food is ok for the pricing. The taste of the pulled pork was ok. Not a real strong Smokey flavor but it was good. Sadly it was a tad dry, needed to add sauce to it to give back some moisture that was needed. As for sauces: you had mustard sauce, Smokey sauce, sweet sauce and a spicy sauce. I tried three out of four, just did not care to try the spicy sauce. My favorite of the three I tried was the mustard sauce which had a rather sweet taste and a slight twang of the mustard. For me it was the best balance of sauce flavoring offered. The Smokey and Sweet sauces actually tasted really close to each other and not a real defining differences. Then for the brisket, it looked good, nice small line of bark on it. Sadly though just by looking at it, I could tell this was dry and over cooked. Very small smoke ring at the edge and the meat was completely over done and so dry when I cut it with my fork it broke into lots of pieces, not because of it being tender but it was so dry. Had a hard time using my fork to stab it and wound up using my spoon to gather it up to eat because it broke up so much. Taste was not bad outside of the dryness. Way disappointed in this joint. Had the makings and smells of a great place. Just very dry meat with the pork and brisket. And others eating with us had a burger and it was over cooked and dry as well. The baked beans had a ok flavor, but needed help so I injected some money sauce to help and that worked. The potato salad was very plain and no real flavor sadly. I love potato salad and wish I chosen another side item that this. Service was good and not too bad. Little slow since there was pretty much no one in the joint. But they were nice folks. Hoping today was just an off day for them. Otherwise a very fair tasting BBQ joint.
