A special of white asperigus I had never had before was served as an appetizer with drawn butter, bred and special flemish sauce. For an entree I enjoued skewers of scampi and scallops over perfectly cooked pasta with olive oil and sprigs of veg. I was so full I skipped desert but the crem brulet looked devine. Instead I concluded with a coffee and baileys. Highly reccomend for the traveler near Brussels Airport who looks for a reasonably priced decerning meal with great wine and Belgium Beer!!

Found this restaurant close by, and it was a terrific choice. Great fresh and creatively prepared seafood. They offered a special with white asparagus prepared Flemish style. It was spectacular. DECOR - As soon as we pulled up in the parking lot I was impressed with the layout and decor of the place. You could tell the building is well cared after. On the inside everything is beautifully decorated with floor to ceiling of wood. Great for groups, lots of space and a beer garden. The staff is friendly and makes you feel at home. The owner greets and spends time with customers through out the evening. Just a great vibe and most importantly an enjoyable evening. FOOD & DRINK - the menu has a great selection of fantastic beers and Bavarian food. Our picks were the sausages with kraut which was to die for. Two of us were not big on kraut but in this case cleaned the plate. For mains highly recommend the jäger schnitzel, the meatloaf and the cordon blue. For sides we had spatzel which is buttery pasta bits, potato dumpling which consisted of a fluffy starch ball, and traditional potato salad. The schnitzel was the best I've ever had and I've had my fair share of German food but Bavarian style takes the cake for me.

First time around: I ordered an 8 oz (which is considered a medium, LOLZ) oat milk latte with one pump of vanilla and a little Quiche Lorraine (GF) on the side. The total came out to about $12/ €10. The gal who helped me was so wonderful! As soon as she heard me say, "hello", she switched gears and asked me, "English?". I was so impressed watching her interact with multiple different customers, seamlessly jumping from language to language. After I grabbed my food, I went and found a little table in the middle of the airport where I had an eat-pray-love moment with my food and coffee. Following my heavenly breakfast, I walked around for 2 hours and was drawn back for another coffee. That's how you know it's good coffee, folks.
