My initial bargain was a pair of Daddy Yankees from the US and just recently I picked up a pair of Swiss waterproof runners which had been marked down from €150.00 to €30.00. Not bad. The service is not bad either as they quickly assign staff to the checkouts if the line starts to stretch. Sometimes when it is your turn you get an almost mechanical recitation of your rights of return. That can annoy but I suppose is it all part of learning on the job. Most of the staff though can build those return details into a normal conversation as they put your gear through.

Parking facilities (free) are just fantastic with a huge open area in the Shopping Centre and a fine multi-storey park in the Retail Park across the road and access is excellent as well. I was in there at the weekend and called to a few places, including Dunnes Store big wide aisled supermarket, the anchor tenant in that section. Other big names in Blackpool include Soundstore, Cummins Sports, the Butcher's Block and, in the Retail Park you have Argos, Atlantic Home Care, Heaton's, Maplin and many more. You also have eating and drinking facilities there along with the two main banks. There is an amenity park, first aid facilities, recycling, a prayer room, ATM, free Wi-Fi, etc... I took a few minutes to look through their sale racks and at price items and both offered a lot of cute deals that wouldn't bust the bank. I didn't buy anything for myself due to my suitcase already being so full. However, I did purchases a few on-the-go items to take with me for an excursion and didn't spend more than 50 euro for the food and shorts combined.

I ended up getting a discovery kit and the lovely salesperson printed out a custom label for me and threw in some tiny sample vials. It made me a fan for life and the little custom label indicating where I bought it is the only reason I remembered where I bought it. They were near closing and I wasn't rushed out, 5 stars for customer service.

Lots of shopping and food. Plenty of restaurants and coffee spots. This area has so much to offer if you are looking to spend some time shopping or eating. It is a good place to get one as your voucher is also valid in other big centres such as Liffey Valley and Northside Shopping Centres in Dublin, Whitewater shopping Centre in Newbridge, Co. Kildare and the Merchants Quay Shopping Centre in Cork. The kiosk just inside the front door sells the vouchers and will also help out with any queries you may have on Mahon Point - they also have a range of helpful leaflets and a storefinder. Found the staff quite helpful and knowledgeable.
