Props to Dunkin for serving stronger espressos that Starbucks. However, what good does that do if there isn't any coffee added to my latte? I had to come back just to ask for my drink remade, but the staff's attitude was in no way apologetic. Also, I am pretty sure I did not get a decaf one like I asked for - I am feeling pretty jittery right now. Tried to avoid a 1 star review thinking of all the good that happened in this visit: One star for the the other staff that apologized for making my drink with the wrong milk at first. This Dunkin' in Sharpsburg is one I usually visit weekly. I always do mobile orders because I believe it's the fastest form of ordering at DD. If I think they might be out of an uncommon ingredient there, I am sure to go to the counter and ask if they have the ingredient I'm looking for (such as raspberry syrup) before I submit my order. They usually have the ingredients I want, but sometimes they've been out of cold foam. I've never used the drive-thru because I don't like drive-thru's, so I don't know how theirs is, but I do know that it's always busy when I usually go - around 10 am - 2 pm. When I got up to the speaker the girl said one word that I couldn't understand. I said, "Excuse me?" and she again said the same word that o couldn't understand. I told her I still didn't understand her and finally she said, "Dunkin".......that's all. Then I asked if this was Baskin Robbin's and she just said, "Yeah." Not can I help you or anything else. [Morning Shift] The absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced. I arrived and decided to walk inside this morning. I was asked what I would like and when I tried to begin, I was first cut off with the person serving me saying she wasn't ready. I was asked again and so I started to provide my order and was interrupted with the question of how many donuts in total. Once again I started and was interrupted with her telling me she wasn't ready and needed a box. She dropped the first one, selected a new one, and grabbed the 3 donuts I had mentioned several times and asked what else I wanted before putting them in a box and sending me on my way. Stopped by drive thru for a sandwich on a miserable rainy windy day- one car at pickup and no one in line. Drove up to order screen, opened my drivers window and commenced to get SOAKED with blowing rain for 5-6 minutes. Yelled "Hello" a number of times, honked my horn- NO RESPONSE AT ALL. When my sleeve, face, drivers door and steering wheel were all dripping wet I said the hell with it and drove off. Two people clearly visible inside as I drove out. I went by Dunkin today to get coffee when I get up to the speaker. All they say is Dunkin when I get up to the window it takes them five minutes to open the window. Not sure what happened to this location. Won't answer their phone. Items on the menu, they don't have. Doors are locked again, the line yesterday was at least 15 cars in line. After 5 mins and no movement, I decided it would be quicker to go inside. We stopped here to get a donut. The drive-thru line seemed long, so I went inside. This was around 4 p.m. on a Sunday afternoon. Their inventory of fresh donuts appeared marginal. I asked for a chocolate frosted cake donut but they were out. I then just opted for a plain old-fashioned (cake) donut. The guy at the counter offered to take it and chocolate-glaze it for me. While I wasn't thrilled with the inventory (hey...it's "time to make the donuts"!), I was impressed with their motivation and customer-service. So 4 of 5 for today! read more

Went through the drive through with my family on our way to MY WEDDING... my dad was cracking jokes being super kind and personable and whatever lady was inside was not having it. Super monotone, rude attitude, ignoring what we were saying. Then we drive up to the window and watch her make the coffees.... she had her hands in side of the cups. Everyone who lives here knows this store is terrible - slow, very poor customer, unclean store and rarely has the donuts you want but now they have moved on to illegal activity. Two days ago my daughter begged for ice cream as we were getting close so I stopped against my better judgement and spent under $4 and today I see they charge my credit card $20 even. While I am normally a Starbucks fan because of their reserve coffees brewed in the Clover machine, and rewards you can earn, I genuinely feel like Dunkin has the better coffee all around. Their drip coffee never tastes burnt, and when I'm in the mood for a fancy coffee (macchiato, latte, or seasonal specials) I feel like Dunkin coffee is less sweet and less artificial tasting. I also like their iced coffee more than Starbucks because it never tastes watered down. They don't have as many tea type drinks, but that's not a total deal breaker for me. Also, my significant other is a sugar monster and would pick Dunkin over Starbucks any day because donuts. The man can put down some sweets, so I always grab him a treat when I go here for coffee. As far as I can tell, the donuts here are always fresh. The staff is quite young, but they are always polite, fast, and efficient. This Dunkin Donuts has got to be the worst one in the system. Owned by a group in Florida who simply doesn't care about the franchise, it shows in the labor they hire, and lack of management there is, and the filthy unstocked inventory. The staff has an "I don't care" attitude and the lack of inventory of Donuts, ice cream, napkins and other essentials shows that the management team doesn't care either. I asked the ownership to contact me regarding the dismal condition of their store but received no response., The last straw for me was yesterday morning, July 4th, when at 8:30 am I went in to the store to get a coffee and the donut racks were vacant, the staff was rude and then they told the customer I front of me that they would not give a military discount to the gentleman infront of me. When did this lousy ownership decide to not honor our veterans with a small token of appreciation for their service?
