I live in Cali and come to this side of Tullahoma Tn to visit family. First off, I'd like to say that the selection of items are great in store especially since I'm an outdoors gal who enjoys the great outdoors. But that's it. Each time I purchased something that I had to quickly exchange for better size, I experienced a GIANT hassle (with tags and receipt all intact in a timely matter). For example, I bought a pair of hiking boots on sale but when I came back only two days later to exchange (unused boots wth tags still attached) for a half-size smaller, they did not honor the sale price from the original receipt!!!!! I had to pay the difference for the full amount!!!! That's just wrong AND bad business practice. More recently (May 8, 2025), my elderly mom was with me in store and she paid (in cash) for one pair of sandals as an early bday present to me. I came back only one day later to get a smaller size (again not used and tags still attached) but forgot the receipt in the car where my elderly mom was waiting. After explaining this to the two gals working the cashier, they said I had to have receipt in hand so I ran out to get the receipt in car. After coming back only a minute later, I was ordered by the two same saleswomen who originally said they needed the receipt to go to the end of line where I had to wait again. Patiently waiting, I got to the front of the line worried about my mom and the cashier asked for my credit card and inadvertently charged me! I did not notice bc I thought she was politely doing the exchange while I was rushing to get back outside the store. After flying home and perusing my purchases and checking account online, I only then realized that I was charged twice for one pair of sandals, and stupid me threw away the original paid-in-cash receipt while packing to fly back home. This really sucks bc if they check their sales records for both days, then they will realize I was charged twice for one pair sandals!!!! Each instance I asked for the store manager and/or supervisor, and was told that I was dealing with them. I feel like if I called to ask to get my little bit of money back, they will NOT want to cooperate bc sales are clearly more important to this store franchise than helping customers and dealing fairly with them! read more

Great local store. Doesn't have everything but it has a lot and most of the time at better prices than an academy or dicks

The Wife and I went in to buy a gun safe as a Christmas gift at the Tullahoma Store. The gentleman that helped us was very helpful, courteous and professional. We asked him about two different safes, and He told us he could only gives us an honest review on one of them because his grandpa has one. WOW Very impressive. Honesty. We ended up buying both and we will keep one ourselves. The store was very clean and organized. We will come back to this Tullahoma store just because of the staff. read more

Dunhams has horrible business practices. They won't let you return practically anything, even if it's defective. They treat their employees like garbage, only offering $100 annually toward 401k, even for GMs that have years with the company. The majority of the DM's are only in positions because they know/are friends with other higher ups. They think that a management position working 38-40 hours per week deserves nothing more than $12.50 per hour, but expect them to unload trucks, manage entire departments, sell firearms, manage employees, set plannograms, set ad & never have consecutive days off- EVER. Dunham's is a HORRIBLE company and you shouldn't waste your time, they do not & will not ever care about their employees or customers. read more

I thought I'd stop by the local sports store--since there's not another one for 40 miles to see about buying some women's golf apparel. I was pretty surprised to find a severely neglected section of shoes, clothing, and clubs. I started to leave a negative review, but I thought, "I think I'll speak to the manager to get her take on the situation before blindsiding them with a bad review." When she came over, I chose a random shoe from the wall and asked if she had one in any size available. When she couldn't locate one, I asked how one would go about getting a golf shoe from this store and she said that Dunhams doesn't allow them to order many items for stock. I was thinking, "then why have one on display if you don't carry the shoe?" So, I asked about the clothing. They have half a rack of women's shirts and shorts, and about 30 racks of men's clothing. She said what we see is what we get. I didn't ask about the lack of selection of clubs, but I suggested I might go online to purchase shoes and other items from somewhere else and she said, "ok" in a very cheerful voice. read more

Got a Nike pro combat shirt for Father's Day. No receipt in gift box. Shirt was not my favorite color and had hole in sleeve. I asked to exchange for different color. They had 2 others in stock. Would not do an exchange without a receipt per corporate policy. My policy is to never return. read more

This place amazes me is still open. Considering this is only store of its kind in and 80 mile radius you would expect it to be doing gangbusters. The opposite is true. I can only assume thst this store is a wright off. The selection is ok. However the staff reflexs poorly on the whole store. Yesterday we were trying to check out. Maybe 8 people in the whole store. Standing in line for 10 minutes. The store manager took he sweet to come from her office since her staff can't do a price override or a refund. This place needs an overhaul starting with the management. read more
