Next, Heidi and Dave took the time with us to explain all the features about the Eclipse. We eventually proceeded to purchase the Eclipse and it was delivered by Dave personally with what they call their "white glove" delivery service to customers in the lake Gaston area. Again, Dave took time to go over all the features for setting up the Hobie Eclipse. We are pleased to share that we have taken the Eclipse on the water and absolutely love the board. It is extremely stable, nimble to maneuver, and very fast. The person wore nothing that identified her as a Dunhams' employee. I replied I had paid for it and showed the receipt (wrapped around the cooler handle). The employee then accused me of being rude!?! I hope I don't need to shop at this location ever again.

The store was also fairly warm, a good 10° cooler than the outside but the outside being 98°, it was still pretty dang hot. I went to the back to look for shoes and there's nobody working in that area. There was another gentleman I'm trying on shoes on his own, I wanted to get a size from the back if they had it, that I didn't see out on the shelf. And there was nobody in sight but I could hear people talking from the fishing area. Walk around the corner and looked and there were four employees standing in there talking about girls and Friday night, etc., etc. Etc.. I stood there looking at them and they said you need help and I said no I've been here long enough and I went upfront. In total, I've been there a good 20 minutes trying to find what I needed with. No help or offer to help or nobody in sight to help. On my way out, there is a lady upfront and I mentioned to her, hey you guys guys in the back that are doing nothing but talking about partying and stuff, I'm trying to find help, there's an older guy sitting there having to take care of himself, he's not getting help. She, the manager, looked me dead and said what did you ask for help? I said one I shouldn't have to go, but there is nobody to ask except for all the people over in the fishing aisle talking about what girl they're gonna take out on Friday night and or what they did last weekend, inappropriate conversation for work. They're standing around doing nothing. She said well it is hot in here and I told them to take it easy, and I thought well then you must not need any business so I left. I won't be back.

I made an appointment at US Fitness Products, ordered a rower, and was told it'd arrive within 5-6 weeks. On the scheduled shipping date, I got an email saying the shipment was delayed and it would take another 5 weeks. And then, their delivery is delayed, so really it'd be an additional 7-8 weeks before I got my rower in my home. For context: ordered my rower in July, told it'd ship August 27. Got notified August 27 that it actually wont get shipped until end of September, give or take 1-2 weeks for shipping, plus an extra 2-3 weeks for delivery. So we're looking at the end of October/early November...for an order I placed in mid July. I called the manufacturer, who specifically said that had I ordered from them directly, I'd have my rower by now. Further, I specifically asked for this to be delivered and they explained to me they have different 'tiers' for delivery: first floor delivery cost around 129 i think, 2nd floor delivery would be slightly more, etc. We agreed to have them deliver to my first floor. Apparently, when I checked back in for an updated delivery date, they had no record of my request for delivery. They were just going to let the rower show up at their storefront, and call me to pick it up. I would not have been prepared for that. Either way, I cancelled my order. I understand there's high demand with home gym products, but I could have ordered a Pelaton and gotten it by now. Not sure what the delay is with US Fitness Products, but you can certainly get equipment sooner than they can deliver.
