I love Dunelm! They've got a great selection of curtains, bedding, mirrors, towels, fabrics, sewing materials, kitchenwares, gifts and general bits and bobs. This isn't the largest store in the world, but it's adequate and they've got a really good selection. The staff are good, and give personalised service, especially if you find that you have to return anything. There can sometimes be big queues to pay but I think it depends on the time of day that you visit. Large car park so no problems there. read more

This place is perfect for your homeware products,they have a huge range starting at really low prices, rising up to your more expensive brand names,if you have just moved into a house its definately worth visiting here as you can get just about everything under the one roof,from lighting ,pichers,mop an bucket absolutely everything for the home all for a really good price. If I'm honest I find this the most boring shop in the world but the wife always seems to 'need' something that we can only get in Dunelm and since it's fairly local and easy to get to I'm always getting dragged in. They seem to sell millions and millions of different curtains and bedspreads. I don't know how one big shop can sell so many of the same thing, but they do. They've also got quite a good but small lighting section which has light fittings at reasonable prices although a lot of them are a little cheap/chavvy looking, but many are nice. There's a kitchen section at the back and a mirror/picture and gift section at the front. There'a always a rather sullen looking security guard on the door, I suppose there must be a high demand for contraband pillowcases in Doncaster or something, as I've never really seen anyone other than old ladies and people like my wife shopping in there. It's boring, but it's a really good shop if you need curtains and not too expensive. But there's really no need to drag your husband there, drop him off at McDonalds instead. read more

Dunelm Mill shop is very expensive in my opinion for what it is. I think you can find a lot cheaper on the high street. That said if you are looking for a wedding present it does have some nice bales of towels and home ware gifts especially the Kylie range of bedding which is very glittery and nice. It has a good cafe which serves nice food and the staff are very nice. The parking is free and as a place to browse it is lovely but I just don't think on the everyday items it represents value for money. Have a look and see what you think. read more
