Water pressure and temperature of hot water was poor. Otherwise I had a wonderful weekend stay. The pool is beautiful and heated. There's an amazing patio area by pool and outside the bar with ocean view. Walk to the ocean is very quick, and I highly recommend catching a sunrise.

My sheets felt damp so I think we shouldn't have turned off the ac as the area is foggy/damp. Really great stay.

It is a jazzed up sparking americano with a wonderful hint of orange... don't knock it til you try it. I also recommend you try the Leche de Tigre with the infamous "buzz button". If you've never had one before be prepared for an acid trip in your mouth... it's the most insane sensation (10/10). Lastly, the atmosphere is what really makes this place. Everyone is so friendly and great to hangout with! I've never had a bad experience here and I really don't think it's possible. Plus it's dog friendly!!!!

This was the site of their post-wedding Sunday pool brunch. They had reserved the hotel's entire fenced-in pool area for the brunch, which is one big reason I think they chose this place. We had a great time. According to Salt Air's website (https://www.visitsaltair.com/about.html), this hotel was originally built in 1946 as the Salt Air Motel. It definitely has that older motel feel, which I can actually find to be appealing. Also according to the site, the hotel was rebuilt in 2022, which makes sense. The whole property felt updated and refreshed to me. It's not a big place, sandwiched in between a McDonald's and the Hotel Palms. Parking is somewhat limited. When we first arrived, I accidentally parked at the Hotel Palms thinking it was Salt Air. They both have similar old-school motel vibes, but modernized to be more chic (Hotel Palms especially so). Hotel Palms was built only a year after Salt Air, in 1947. However, unlike Salt Air, Hotel Palms does not have a pool. They do have a cool little coffee shop though, which we visited. It's called Show Pigeon Coffee. If you're staying at Salt Air, it's definitely worth walking next door to check it out. The Sunday pool brunch ended promptly at 1pm so the hotel could clean the rooms and common areas in preparation for the next batch of guests. I liked the low-key, retro atmosphere of Salt Air. From/to Jacksonville International Airport, I would plan for about a 45-minute drive each way due to traffic. Salt Air is only a few blocks away from the beach.

They have nice touches like a small bowl of candy and a cool guestbook. I like that the do not disturb signs are magnet and go with the theme. I didn't try the pool because it was chilly out. There is a great bbq place two doors down and it's not too far of a walk from the beach and other restaurants and shops. I highly recommend this place!!

The pool was closed for that entire day & we were not informed of that until we checked in. The courtyard turned into a "frat party" with port a potties directly beneath our balcony. The live music and noise was impossible to ignore. We did not get any sleep and were not able to use the pool, go to the Lemon Bar (PACKED), or quietly lounge on our balcony to read or enjoy the view. Additionally, we had a biking trip planned for Saturday morning. When we tried to leave the parking lot, we were told that we could not carry our backpack or supplies OUT or IN. After sending 2 emails, I reached out & spoke to Trina (Manager). I req 1 night credit for the festival. She told me I had to contact Expedia. I did so, they reached out & received no response to approve the credit after SEVERAL attempts. Expedia did end up crediting me some One Key Cash for the inconvenience so no complaints with them. Bottom line, very disappointed in how this was handled and I would not stay here again - festival or no festival EVER! Lots of great places in Neptune Beach - suggest you go elsewhere!

There would be way too many arguments and fights for the chairs and the longevity of people using them or others that would hog as many as possible. And some of the charging cable ports in the room didn't work. The shower is not sealed and water leaks out from under the door.
