I have had a very good experience with Mr. Baldrige so far..., i will write a complete review later…read morewhen i get all of my share of inheritance from my mom's estate. I live overseas in Europe and Mr. Baldrige contacted me via email wanting to discuss my mom's probate case and possibly representing me in my mom's probate case in madison couny, MS. Another attorney i had contacted through a lawyer finding website referred me to Mr. Baldrige. My My father and brother were trying to defraud me of my share of my mom's inheritance since i live Overseas and I am not a USA citizen . Mr. Baldrige has done a fantastic job so far, and he has done everything i have asked him to do so far . He is a terrific attorney. He is not cheap. I was not looking for a cheap attorney, I was looking for an excellent attroney and Mr. Baldrige , in my humble opinion is most likely the best attorney not only in Madison county, Mississippi but one of the findest attornies you will find in southern USA. i had contacted over 30 attornies and i said no to many of them who wanted to become my attorney. I could not have asked for a better attorney to represent me in my mom's probate case in Madison Mississippi. Mr. Baldrige is very polite, he returns emails as fast as he can and is very experienced attorney. If you have a criminal case, family/probate case in Madison county or in the state of Mississippi, you will be making a mistake if you do not hire Mr. Baldrige. Do not try to nickle and dime him, great attornies cost more money than average and below average attornies that will disappoint you. He can not win every criminal case or come through each time in regards to a family/probate case but if you hire him, He will give you the best chance of winning your case because he is such an outastanding attorney. If you look all over the internet, you will find 1 GREAT review after great review of Mr. Baldrige with very satisfied clients. Do not hestite in hiring him , he is simply the best attorney in Mississippi. My mom's court case is pretty much closed now and Madison country probate court ( chancery ) has issued a final court order and the only remaning item is , my mom's condo needs to be sold and the money shared between family members. Once that is done, and i receive my full share of inheritance, i will write a more complete review of the great attorney Mr. Matt Baldrige.

Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend this attorney…read more Throughout my case, I felt there was a lack of preparation and effort. There were also two missed court dates. I was given explanations such as the balance not being paid and being unable to obtain body-camera footage, among other issues. I paid a separate $2,500 retainer for matters outside of the divorce, in addition to $5,000 for the divorce. I ultimately felt that the work I specifically requested under that separate retainer was not completed, so I requested a refund for that portion. Instead, the amount was transferred toward the divorce, and I was subsequently billed for additional items that, from my perspective, appeared to bring the charges back up to the retainer amount. I'm sharing my experience so others can make an informed decision. I would personally be very cautious about trusting something as important as your livelihood and legal situation to this attorney. Also in an engagement letter, we agreed 300 an hour apparently in her last invoice she sent that she made 350 an hour. Also looking over it seems like 11 hours of work some of those was waiting on judge to arrive. Seems to be inflated to 14. Hours

Renee the receptionist needs to learn to speak with people she is rude and not clear when she speaks. I understand that lawyers are busy but as consumers are we not supposed to be? What's wrong with setting up an appt and calling us? why is it I have to call the attorney back? Makes no sense. The second time I called her back 20 mins late because again I'm used to people calling me back and also I have a sick child and she stated she didn't want to take my case because I didn't call her back. That's horrible service and if she was busy she should have been stated that from the beginning. I was recommended to her but I'll be sure to advise others in the area of the rudeness, the horrible customer service, and also how I was treated considering I was seeking help. I guess when it's a consultation and there's no money involved she does not give a damn! Thanks for nothing.
