Stopped by for a slice. It was really good. Copious amount of meat. Very delicious bite. I should have ordered ranch as the crust was a bit dry. Definitely NY style slices.

It never gets old. I have been coming to Due Amici for years. The pizza and Strombol are amazing! They have a full menu so be prepared to come in and order pasta dishes and amazing meals such as chicken parmigiana... Which is my favorite. Garlic knots area great compliment to a pasta dish. You can also get dessert. There are several options. Personally I like the Zeppoli's. Fried fluffy dough with sugar on top remind me of the Italian festivals in New York. If you have not been you don't know what you are missing.

Always a good meal at Due Amici! My favorite is the rice ball. Kiddo always loves the cheese slice. The restaurant is not fancy. Order at the counter and then they holler when it's ready.

Finally made it to Due Amici for lunch and left with a full belly and take home boxes. Tried 3 slices, fries, mozzarella sticks, Greek salad. Big portions, fresh ingredients. You can taste the love from this family run business. Give them a try!!

I placed an order for pickup, and the process went very smoothly. I'd heard good things about this place, especially as a New Yorker. I ordered the classic pie with half cheese and half pepperoni. The size was perfect, and the pizza was good overall. Would I come here again? Probably. I've had better pizza, but this one was very cheesy and a bit oily--not an issue for me, though it could be for others. It felt like they added extra cheese. I'd love to try some of their other menu options, and I would recommend it to family and friends.

I wanted a healthier slice so I ordered a slice with grilled chicken, onions and green peppers. As you can see they just dumped it on. No symmetry, order or organization. The green peppers were over cooked and soggy. Onions were chunky. I took everything off and tried to just eat the cheese pizza but I couldn't finish it because it was so soggy. Every disappointed! I'll just stay with a traditional cheese or pepperoni pizza. The cashier was friendly though!

Best chicken parm pizza when other places here don't event offer! Also love real sausage sliced !

Sausage, mushrooms and onions

I was really looking forward to this pizza. I dashed over at lunch and it was pretty crowded. Since I knew I probably needed more than a slice, I got a small with sausage mushroom and onions - $25ish for a pie seemed a little steep but I was there for it. The wait was about 15 minutes. My husband ordered extra sauce on the side that cost an additional $1, a wise decision. I took one look at the finished product and it looked pretty good. My first bite was okay. I honestly didn't taste the sauce. The cheese was good but the toppings were pretty thin and had little flavor. Though the onions were cut pretty big, they too had little flavor BUT I loved the crusty dough! NY style at its finest! Would I race back to Due Amici? No, but I would certainly try it again - another dish perhaps?

Pepperoni New York Regular Pizza

Ordered the garlic knots and pepperoni pizza. One of the best NY pizza restaurants in CLT. Went close to closing and the food was still fresh delicious

Food is good, service is good as well. Sometimes the pizza can be a little too oily but it's still amazing!! 9/10

Pizza was good but staff was rude. Not a great experience overall, should have gotten the picture when we walked in.

Pizza was awesome, about as authentic as it can be in NC. My son had a meat roll that looked delicious. Its a very busy place, for a reason

Great pizzas, though lately they are tasting a little too salty, I think it's the sauce. But over all really good

Very clearly the best late night pizza option in Charlotte. May just be the absolute best pizza…read moreoption period. We stopped in here for a weeknight late bite when our options were somewhat limited. Thankfully at that hour, street parking in NoDa wasn't too bad, we got a spot just off the main drag. Slices here are GIGANTIC, one is easily about 3 standard slices of pizza, or two normal NY size slices. We got a pepperoni and a cheese. The pepperoni had nice kick to them and the cheese was a high quality. You had to let the pepperoni grease drain onto your plate a bit, but that is expected. The thing that makes both slices so good is the garlic butter bath all around the crust that you can see them doing in the kitchen. Not just that, but the texture in the crust will make even non-crust lovers think again. You're basically left with big doughy garlic butter breadsticks. Definitely a 5 on taste. My only complaint, and I'm sure it is partly by design to keep people from staying long, the stools you can sit on to enjoy your pizza inside the restaurant are THE WORST I have ever placed my derrier on. Even for 15 minutes, it wasn't just uncomfortable, it was painful. It took me a couple blocks to start walking correctly again. Might as well just get rid of them and have people stand to eat. Terrible. Almost knocked a star off for it, that bad. Regardless of the world's worst stools, I would come back for more pizza and just plan on not eating it there.

Loved the layout with seating inside and the open window out front, very inviting! Will add, best eaten fresh as when taken back to our hotel, it did lose its crispiness! A couple of bites is all ya need to prepare for their delicious pizzas. My go to is light on the Pepperoni Well Done (important) and a side of hot honey sauce and a side of plain honey. Because the hot stuff ain't no joke- I have to turn down the spice by mixing the two. Then it's like the best Sweet and Salty you can dream of then the heat kicks you in the face in the best way. To top it off don't even think about leaving before you have one of their brown butter chocolate chip cookies! They are ridiculous and a must. If no room in your belly make sure to get one to go and you can heat it up to perfection when you get home.

The reason we came in to order to-go was because we weren't happy with the Door-Dash delivery of same last time. The pizza just didn't travel well. This time with our to-go order it traveled a bit better and was fresher. We think it would be even better (4 stars) if we dined in. We also had a nice salad of mixed greens with dried cherries and the like, but it didn't come tossed. The dried cherries were in one corner, the onions in another ... you get the idea. Tossing would have made it easier to eat on-the-go. But the service people were very nice, and the store was clean and roomy with a semi-open kitchen. We'd give this place another try next time when dining in.

Review for Pizza Baby…read more After a relaxing Vinyasa yoga class and sound bath at The Coterie Wellness one evening, I found myself hungry--and conveniently, Pizza Baby had just opened in the same complex. Perfect timing. Since it was still new, the restaurant wasn't very busy, and I decided to grab a table outside. The outdoor seating was lovely--relaxed, comfortable, and a great way to unwind after a wellness session. I'm a sucker for thin-crust pizza, especially when it's hand-tossed and thoughtfully prepared, so one item immediately caught my eye: the rosemary pizza with hot honey. Sold. I added Italian sausage to the pizza and paired it with a fresh green salad (I can never resist a good Green Goddess dressing). Yes, it was a little on the pricey side, but the quality matched the cost--and I was genuinely pleased with my choices. The crust was thin and flavorful, the toppings were balanced, and the hot honey added just the right touch of sweetness and heat. This is definitely a place I'd return to--next time with friends--so we can share a few different pizzas and appetizers and really explore the menu. A few practical notes: * Parking is generally easy since the restaurant shares a lot with neighboring businesses in the complex * There are several nearby spots, including a wine bar and entertainment venues, which make the area feel lively * There was some early parking congestion when a nearby church held services, but the situation has since been addressed with signage and coordinated parking solutions It's nice to see businesses and community partners working together to make things run smoothly. There's also another location of Pizza Baby that I plan to visit, which speaks to how positive my first experience was. Bottom line: Great thin-crust pizza, pleasant outdoor seating, and a convenient stop after yoga or an evening out. A solid addition to Charlotte's growing food scene--and absolutely worth checking out. And if you're already in the area for a class or wellness session, it makes for the perfect post-workout reward.

The pizza was completely inedible. A quart of tomato sauce sat on top of turned-soggy bread,…read moresurrounded by burnt crust. And it wasn't even that hot. It had been sitting there under the lights for too long. Because the place was busy, and we do have empathy for how hard servers work, we did not send it back or say anything. Just ate as much as we could The meatball appetizer was small and not overly flavorful--a lot for $14, just to add that in. Also, many of the appetizers are cheese-type dishes, which feels like a bit much if you're already there for pizza. Why PB puts SO much sauce on their pies, I don't know. They could save a few dollars by cutting the amount in half. Maybe their other pies are not as soggy, and the fact that margherita pies have a more watery cheese is a factor. Still, we nearly had to eat it like soup. The service was fine--could've been a little more attentive. But there are a dozen other pizzerias in Charlotte that are much better.

It felt like I was home on my couch hanging with friends. It's such a cool chill place. I loved the pizza, olives app and the old fashioned. It was nice to actually meet the owner too, he is the person who greeted us when we walked in and he was really nice. This place just seems like a good neighborhood spot.
