Secondly, in the room me and my partner got given (as there were no double rooms left) one of the beds was concave on the mattress- and it was that bad it looked like a small crater :/ I decided to sleep in that one as my partner has back issues and by the end of the weekend my back was killing too. The rooms in general are very basic. Everyone gets a sink in their room but everyone shares one shower and one toilet - and there's about 8 rooms. It's really awkward in the morning when everyone is queuing for a pee!! I think there are one or two en suite rooms but the rest aren't, and it's basically a house converted into as many bedrooms as possible to fit as many people as possible in. The walls are paper thin too. You could hear people brushing their teeth in the next room and it's awkward when you can hear the couple in the next room getting it on :/ Another thing that wound me up was that there are wires everywhere, and they aren't boxed. We had one running from the ceiling to the floor a over our bed and it wasn't secured to the wall with wire clips, it was just hanging :S The last of my niggles is that when we wanted a brew when we got in, we only had 2 tea bags, and 1 sachet of sugar but loads of milk so we had to go out and buy some sugar and more milk. Don't get me wrong, the location is superb, being a 5 min walk from the seafront and from all the excitement especially if you want to go on a night out, and the people who run it are lovely and cleethorpes has a great vibe but you get what you pay for I suppose. Me and my partner however wish we had paid a little more for a different b&b I hate giving bad reviews but I wouldn't recommend this place to people and I don't think we'll be returning here

This is a fantastic place for those who want to get away in the countryside. Tucked away some way…read moredown a country lane, it's a true country house with dogs, cats and horses (which are all normally kept away from the guests, unless you ask otherwise!). The house is a double cottage which houses the guestmaster couple on one side, and the guests are on the other. This means guests have their own lounge and dining room. The gardens are also beautifully kept, including a pond. It's within 10 minutes' drive of Lincoln (5 minutes to the Showground), and for those who like walking there are footpaths all around. We loved our stay and felt very welcome at Honeyholes. One more thing I will say the decor is very vintage, dark wallpaper in some rooms, flowers everywhere (even on the loo roll!); it oozes character, but you have to like that sort of thing.

The rooms are beautiful, sizable, quaint, cozy , warm and beautifully decorated. The beds are very comfortable. The rooms are provided with a serving area of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and cookies. Really nice to come back to after a full day out and about. The living room and dinning room is also inviting and playfully and warmly decorated. Fiona left menu cards of with a large selection of breakfast options. Breakfast was fantastic. I don't want to leave. I can't say enough about this lovely inn.

A very lovely bed and breakfast…read more We found this B&B on line and were not disappointed. It is near the train station and the old town of York. We were greeted by staff who showed us our room for four. It was spacious. Also, we had let them know our daughter was celebrating her birthday and when we arrived, there were balloons on her bed and a cake to share. We had a wonderful stay and would stay here again.

Truly I hardly know where to begin with this place. Let's just start by saying this is possibly the finest dining experience I have ever had and I have had some amazing fine dining experiences all over the world. It is truly special, from the moment you walk in the door you are made to feel like you are the only diner. The service is impeccable, the waiters are so knowledgeable and clearly very thoroughly trained. This is by far more superior than any eatery in the UK I have visited. We were booked on the nine course tasting menu, with a free gorgeous room thrown in per couple, and seriously you will want to stay over. The food was to die for and included beautifully presented Oysters and foie gras which of themselves gives you an idea of the standard you can expect here. Each course came with a preselected wine flight which was great to force you into stepping into another world of wines you might not ordinarily try. We were told that the video cameras in the dining room angle directly over the tables is, rather than keeping a big brother eye over your behaviour, so that the chef can get the timing of the courses appropriately just perfect. And so they were. After dinner we had tea and coffee and then sipped Champagne by the fire until the very small hours of the morning. The only tiny issue I really have to force myself to look for is being off the beaten path but then they've got that covered with their cosy opulent rooms and walking maps of a truly beautiful part of the world. It felt like a holiday not just a Friday night out so why wouldn't you indulge? This place needs a ten star rating option, I literally felt like a princess!
