I stopped in one evening before dinner at a local Resturant. The owner Tom was there helping a customer, while the customer's son was jamming on the drums! Tom was smiling from ear to ear! Once the customer and his son was done inquiring about the drum set for sale, he turned his attention my way. I was interested in him restringing my guitars at home for my children for Christmas. I set up a time to drop them off and he assured me that he would have them done in a few days after drop-off. Tom also told me about the in-house lessons that he offers. Online scam artists....do not deal with this business online. Two orders unfulfilled. On February 2, 2018 and on February 14, 2018 I placed orders with Dube's Music online to purchase red Fender guitar coffee mugs via PayPal. I e-mailed Dube's Music. No reply. No product delivered. Started a PayPal dispute to recoup my money, and e-mailed Dube's Music again. Next step is to contact the BBB read more

I'm furious. I dropped by my keyboard by to get it fixed (he charged me no upfront free- should have been the alarm bell). My keyboard sat in his store for 5 months. I emailed him a dozen times checking in. At one point, he had secured the part, but then the sale "fell through." The last few months of emailing consisted of me asking if he had made progress, and him assuring me that he hadn't and I might as well pick it up. When I showed up at his store to do so, he tried to charge me $30 for unscrewing the back, and searching for the part. He wouldn't let me leave the store without paying. Eventually I acquiesced, and venmoed him $25, anxious to leave, because at that point his voice was getting louder and louder. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS STORE. Go to the Music Center instead. Those guys can do repairs in two weeks, and have a reliable process. read more

The Yelp info here is wrong. The store moved to North Yarmouth. I've been buying strings there at a good price. The store is easier to access than the old location in Freeport. The service was good, and the owner was friendly & helpful read more

I've just moved to Freeport and was thrilled to find a local music store/shop. I have had three guitars "set-up" by Tom Dube, the owner, in the past couple of months and will be bringing in more. Great attitude. Great customer service! And I get a chance to support a local small business! The music lessons part of the business cover the entire gamut.
