I would definitely come back to this Dubbel Dubbel location! My friend and I got the Yangtze Vegetarian set menu, and we were pretty satisfied.
For the food:
The Bao with Tempeh was SO good. Would 100% recommend this if you're doing à la carte.
The Jiaozi were lacking in flavor a little bit. They gave sauces to go with it, so we made good use of those, but it was a bit disappointing that without them they weren't the most tasty.
The Shiitake Wontons were really enjoyable. The sauce they came in was SO good.
Their Pac Choi in sweet garlic sauce was both of our favorites. The sauce was SO delicious, I found myself dipping other things in there even though I probably shouldn't have LOL. Would absolutely recommend.
The Carrot & Daikon and Cucumber Salad were both really good albeit small, and the mushroom salad was alright (the pac choi sauce helped here).
The service was really good, and the guy who helped us was really friendly and had a nice little conversation with us. The time between our baos and the rest of the food felt like a little while, but as soon as the food came I completely forgot about it. It also seemed like there was only one person in the kitchen so I wasn't mad about it.
Interior-wise, it was pretty cute! They had some nice decorations and I would echo a previous review that the music was "funky," in a good way though!
Would be back! read more
