I have been visiting Dr. Beers office for 15 years. I compare him with seven previous dentists. He is much better than all but one of them. He is better than that one. He is skilled and informative. His staff and his of equipment are of the best quality. I would recommend him to anyone. read more

Dr. Beers has been practicing dentistry in Socorro for over 35 years and has been at the Manzanares Ave location for over 20 years.

Meet the Business Owner: Duane B.

Dr. Beers is a graduate of the University of California, Davis (UCDavis) in 1971 with a B.S. in biochemistry. He attended Washington University School of Dental Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri and received his Doctor of Dental Medicine diploma with honors in March 1975. He took a position with the U.S. Public Health Service, Indian Health Service in Zuni, NM. While there he pursued extensive postdoctoral training in oral surgery, orthodontics, and pedodontics. Since then, Dr. Beers has continued his education in the disciplines of cosmetic and laser dentistry. Dr. Beers is a Fellow of Academy of General Dentistry , an accredited member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Beers is a charter member of the American Association of Functional Orthodontics and the Academy of Laser Dentistry.

I go into a new place looking for pitfalls and unexpected challenges, and usually, I'm not disappointed. I've grown used to being able to get most of my own needs met through my own efforts. Prior to going to see Dr. Sandoval, I made the mistake of visiting one of these "fast food" dental places. HUGE Mistake. I went there because of all the great reviews. And when I left, I felt like I should've had a number tattooed on my skin somewhere for all they did for and to me. A great review can only be given if your expectations are met, and honestly, if you expect to be slapped in a chair, rushed through an exam and told the highest, most expensive level of procedures is what you need without the testing or research to back it up, then, by all means, go to these heartless places and you'll be fine. However: If you want a personalized treatment plan that addresses any concerns, reasonable prices, a caring staff, and an experience that makes you breathe out and say, "Finally. This is what I want," go see Dr. Sandoval and the wonderful people in Belen.

I am nearly 83 years old, and in a lifetime of dentistry have experienced enough bad dentistry that I have developed a profound fear of dentists. Dr. Beers is the first dentist who has given me enough confidence -- freedom from pain, clear information, treatments that have improved the condition of my teeth and lasted -- that I have, under his care, no longer experienced my phobia related to dentists. Dr. Beers and his crew make you feel at home. They go out of their way to make you as comfortable as possible before they begin to drill your teeth (lol). Seriously though, Dr. Beers is the best. Traci did an excellent job cleaning my teeth as she always does, she also found a problem with one of my teeth for Dr. Beers to treat. Because she took the time to really look at my teeth and not just clean them, I can address the problem while it is smaller and less expensive to treat. read more
