Well, to update my experience with this place they call a dental office. I have changed dentist, Thank God!. Requested my dental records transferred to my new dentist office 2 weeks ago. Sherry, the receptionist insured me that she would give the info to Dr. Wenger to sign off on the transfer. I called to make sure that my records were transferred today because my new appointment is tomorrow. Spoke to Sherry again, she told me that it would take 72 hrs. to have my records transferred. NO MA'aM! I told her I called 2 weeks ago and this should have been done. She then told me I needed a letter to release my records. She then told me, after I informed her that I had a dental appointment tomorrow, that I could come in today to pick them up. No problem, I wrote the letter requesting my records. Then after I get there to pick up my records, the only thing Rose, I am assuming she is the head disaster in charge, kept repeating is "there is a $25.00 charge for your x-rays". Again, no problem. I stood at the reception desk for about 15 minutes when Sherry came back with a copy of my x-rays. Hmmmm, I then asked where was the rest of my records, treatment plan, Dr.'s notes etc. That's when Rose interjected in a rude unprofessional manner, not even looking me in the face said "the Dr. will have to sign off on the release". I told her I had phoned 2 weeks ago and that this should have been already done. Still not looking at me said "who did you speak to, I can reprimand them." I then told her that at this point a reprimand would be fruitless, seeing that "you" should have been on top of this. When all this back and forth was going on, the waiting room was full of people. A lady, who was in obvious pain was standing at the window to ask how long it would be before she would be seen and (Rose) acted like she didn't know who she was! The lady had to repeat her name 3 times after Rose kept mispronouncing it. The lady told me she had been there for 3 hours waiting to be seen. Finally, I paid the $25.00 to retrieve my x-rays and Rose obviously was annoyed and making faces. She told me "You should just have your new dentist phone in tomorrow and request your records". The office staff is clearly overwhelmed and frustrated and it shows. I am sooo glad I won't have to endure the incompetence from this office staff again! Dr. Wenger, I understand that you get paid from insurance carriers and personal ;patient care is the last thing you are concerned with but what happened to good old fashioned personal consideration and concern for your patients. Your office should be reported to the State. Your facility (converted house) is dirty and and your staff needs training on front office etiquette. BTW....I am a professional staff trainer by trade. Wow! is all I have to say as my closing statement. read more

This place is dirty and old. While I was sitting in the waiting room, I started feeling uncomfortable by seeing how dirty the floor was and the broken pieces here and there. After 45 minutes, I finally was called and did very uncomfortable x-ray on my teeth. After that, the dentist cleaned my teeth within 5 minutes and applied some really weird cream on my teeth that tasted and felt EWW! I would never go back again! The old reason that I went there was it opens 7 days/ week. Also some weird people chat to me in the waiting room. I tried to ignore them, but they did not get the hint. read more

Save yourself the trouble and do not go here. The receptionists are unprofessional and rude. Even with an appointment I wait over an hour just to be seen for 5 minutes. read more

This office is horrible. Avoid if at all possible. The wait time is never less than an hour. The receptionists are extremely rude. The dentists are profoundly incompetent. Again, avoid if at all possible. read more

Dr. Wenger & Dr. Saltzberg dental office! This dentist office is disgusting! I have never ever been to a dentist office that looks this bad! the wait time is ridiculous, the dentist spent 5 minutes with me and put a cap that fell off by the end of the night! The receptionist are rude and unprofessional! I would avoid going here if possible! read more

Worst dental service ever. Do not do the same mistake as us by going to this place. If there was a negative rating I would have given it to them. My wife went to them once in 2015 because I asked her to and she is suffering from the pain till today. They constantly keep on sending us mails that we owe them money but do not ever charge the claim to insurance service. Then they warn us that they will send it to collections. Lazy bastards read more

No star. Told me 6, then calls and said 530, last appointment. I get here and they have a bunch of people waiting. Bad dentist and hospital. read more

By far the worst dentist in the world. I make a god damn appointment a week before and when I come in I don't even get called in for my appointment time so I have to wait for ages so what's the use of making an appointment when ur just gonna bullsh*t around. These people don't even know the definition of an Appointment. Freaking unorganized people read more

I have been using this dental practice for years. If not for them I would have no teeth! They are all good dentists. Dr. Eramian has made crowns for a couple of my teeth, and I honestly can't tell which ones - they feel like my own teeth, they match perfectly, and my bite is more comfortable than ever. read more

Thieves. Well they tried. overcharged me on a procedure that was covered by my insurance, then one dentist went out of his way to call me and lie and say they were out of network, which is crazy, because the insurance co. assigned me to their dental clinic. fought for months, by way of lawyer, through the insurance company, and even wrote to Consumer Affairs. The office manager is also complicit. Lie after lie every time I call asking for my money. it's a shame, because I was happy with the procedure. they didn't even file a claim with insurance until after I alerted the insurance company. they just pocketed my money. read more

I had a frustrating experience at this establishment. I made the appointment because I had to take out three wisdom teeth. I asked the person who picked up the phone prior to making the appointment if they put people to sleep when they took out wisdom teeth. The girl said that they did. That's the only way I could possibly get my wisdom teeth removed because I get really sensitive. I get there and I fill out all the paperwork which takes about 10 minutes which is about right. I pay my $50 deductible. They call me in to do the most uncomfortable x-rays on the face of this planet because they couldn't get in touch with my insurance company to see if I was eligible for the panoramic x-rays. When the doctor sees me he tells me that he can take out my wisdom teeth right there and then with local anesthesia. I told him that the reason that I went there was to do a consultation so that they could put me to sleep to take out the wisdom teeth. He told me that they absolutely do not do that there. He also told me that he can make an appointment with the doctor that could give me Valium prior to the procedure. Why in the world would I want to take Valium? I told them I would be making an appointment in another office and they sent me on my way. It was basically a waste of my time going there. read more

Oh boy where do I begin? Well I'll just start with the fact that the only reason I'm at this dentist is because my insurance covers it and I have Obamacare. Enough said. My first reaction to this place immediately was for lack of a better word.. RATCHET! Cheap seats, dirt dark "white" walls, nasty receptionists, and overall bad customer service. I got my x-rays done by some woman who didn't even introduce herself. One of the most awkward experiences because she was pretty much quiet the whole time with a stone face unless she had to tell me to "open". The receptionists look at you as if YOURE wasting THEIR time. Super unprofessional. And the dentist didn't even introduce himself. He talked as if he didn't know what he was doing to my teeth, his assistant didn't seem like she cared enough to assist him. Just plain weird. I wish this place was a lot more professional because they take my insurance and I'm nervous that they might end up doing something wrong to my mouth. Also, they were supposed to do two fillings for me today and only did one because there were "A lot of people waiting" when in actuality it was a total of 5 people, I had been waiting 45 minutes, and who makes an appointment to get something done and then you just cut the service because of your own laziness?! The only reason they are getting two stars and not one is because I actually got a smile from one of the girls behind the desk and that's because I was friendly. read more

Going to this practice was my worst nightmare. Dr. Michael Abyou is the orthodontist we need to keep our children's away from. He's unprofessional, rude, and has no people skills at all. He wanted to extract 2 of my child Permanent teeth to give her braces. I ask if there's any other options. He's was so annoyed I didn't agree with his treatment plan, he slammed her chart on the counter and said I refuse to treat your daughter. Find another orthodontist. He offered no options. I took my daughter to few other orthodontist for second opinions and "NOT" one of them agree with Dr. Michael Abyou treatment plan. And yes we had options. "No teeth need to be extracted." I will not recommend this practice or this orthodontist to anyone. read more

ok so this is going to be a very long review...first off the receptionist was not that great ( not very polite or welcoming) and what is a bit concerning is that the office manager sits right next to them while they answer phones and deal with patients. The sole reason why I went to this office is because of the type of insurance I had at the time. The lady who did my xrays was great she was very nice to me. The doctor who reviewed my xrays seemed like he could careless what was going on with me. They scheduled me for the following day (Wednesday) to get an extraction this is where it gets interesting.. When I was called into the room by the dr who was going to do the extraction the Dr. asked the assistant " what insurance does she have" before giving me the anesthesia..the doctor who did the extraction treated me as if I was an animal. I told him I was very scared it was my first time getting a tooth pulled. He DID NOT care at all!!! He was SUPER ROUGH I had to grab his hand because he didnt put enough anesthesia and when I told him I felt what he was doing he gave me another shot and pulled my tooth out within seconds of giving me the shot he didn't even give it a chance to kick in. Now the healing process took awhile. The following day was horrific I felt as if someone was pounding my face in. I had to take off of work for 3 days to recover. This passed Monday I went to Grove Street Dental in Downtown Jersey City for the same exact procedure but on my right side I was back at work by Wednesday with NO PROBLEM. The doctor was very gentle and caring compared to the monster that I saw here. read more

Office staff is unprofessional and impolite. Their filling system is done by hand like in the dinosaur era. Unorganized, confusing, and extremely sloppy!! Make sure that you actually see in network dentist provided by your insurance company. They scammed me in thinking I was being treated by approved dentist covered by my insurance and had me treated by an out of network doctor not covered in my insurance. Even though they schedule me to see dentist I requested. It is sad that now we have to make sure that we are being seen by doctor you have requested to see by asking dentist/doctor for their identity. I was smacked with an enormous bill that was sent to collections without knowing until I got a called by their lawyer. I was never told what was happening by anyone in this dentist office. Please avoid trouble. DO BE SEEN BY ANY DENTIST HERE. Save Yourself!! read more

My family and I attend this dental office because they take my insurance, I know some families travel from other cities to come to see this dentist. All specialist are in the same office different days. The general dentist completed our dental work. the ortho Dr. have corrected my children's teeth. All is good , I would not change a thing. read more

The worst. Don't ever go here. They are a bunch of money hungry crooks. The secretaries are very nasty and rude. I'd rather pay money to get my tooth pulled than to deal with these crooks and let them get paid through my insurance . I wish if I could give these people a negative rating instead of a 1 star. Save yourself the time and go to a professional dentist with a professional staff. These people have no clue what they are doing. They robbed me money and I lost 3 days of work. read more

Hmmm where do I begin? This place is just horrible. From the moment you walk in you notice just how run down it is. This place is filthy. It is so damn hot. There is an air conditioner that appears to be something u would have in your bedroom. I also noticed a huge dusty fan in the corner.. The receptionists are rude and incompetent.. There's an old woman behind the desk..just plain nasty..I simply asked if it was going to be much longer and she told me oh the doctor has your chart any minute now, mind you I was waiting 2 hours already. Some lady finally calls me in to take the most uncomfortable X-rays ever. She was also rude no smile nothing. After waiting another half hour a doctor wenger sees me. Oh my goodness his breath was horrible!!! And he's a dentist. Wth! He was so sarcastic and rushed my cleaning. I was so disturbed after this "cleaning". This place should be shut down! My god. I wouldn't send my worse enemy there! Any good reviews on here must be employees of that office. Worse experience ever. Plus , I needed work and I told the woman I wanted a copy of my Xrays and she told me there is a charge! For paper? They harass you about 4 times a week if u need more work done. I told 5 different people I wasn't coming back and they are still calling. OMG. The worst! read more

no star ...if negative stars existed would definitely be the lowest possible. this dentist office is a scam!!!!! they give you an appointment, make you wait 2 hours, call you in for 3 min x rays and then send you on your way home because it is too late for the dentist to see you. the office is extremely dirty and unpleasant. not sanitary at allllllll. rude staff unwilling to help. i see this as an office that gives you an appointment just to get some x-rays and charge your insurance for things they didn't even do. i will definitely go out of my way to find a way to report them and shut them down!! read more

I'm so upset how can the front end can be so unprofessional and rude. You call for an appointment and they place you on hold for 15 minutes never comes back to finish the call. You have to call back and tell them not to put you on hold . This is very poor business. This makes the dentist look bad. Because first impression are the ones you most remember. And god for bid you ask a question to the receptionist she seems upset because it's taking too much of her time. It's a shame to treat people like this and specially in jersey city were we have a big population of diversity. It makes the business and the doctors look bad. The only reason I go here is because they are open 7 days a week and have some late hours .because I do work long hours. I will keep searching for another health provider. I hope this feed back would help make changes in the staff. And perhaps your facility will receive better reviews. Management should re train the staff or rehire. read more

Do not go here! This place is a nightmare. The dentist I saw was extremely rude and unprofessional. He was also very rough with his equipment when cleaning my teeth. When I told him so politely, he became angry and refused to finish the procedure. My mom also went here and had a similar experience. The dental assistant kept giggling while my mom was getting her cleaning done. Some lady came in and changed the trash bag and left the bag full of trash right next to my mom. The place is very dirty. Further, my dad went for a cleaning and came back with more pain in his teeth than he had before. He went to another dentist who told him the guy who did the procedure here had gone too deep and hit a nerve. We are thinking of suing. I was going to get my wisdom teeth surgery done here but after seeing all this happen, I bolted to another place and I am so glad I did. FYI, I was also told they don't put you to sleep and I shudder to think of what it would be like to get surgery done here if they can't handle a simple cleaning. read more

The dentist broke my front tooth and never told me. several Years later I went out to eat and my tooth broke right in front of my date.( was so embarrassed! ) I was living in New York so I went to another dentist he said u have a tooth with a root canal ..the dentist put a post in it and a temp ,,he did a good job covering up this mess. I ended up having to pay for a crown ..the crown does nt fit well because the post he put in was small and he broke the tooth so low. The crown cost 1200 and now inorder for me to have it fit right I would need work done that would cost 3500 dollars ..I asked the dentist at Christ hospital not to do the tooth that he broke because it was nt bothering me but he did it any way because he wanted to charge my insurence company 3500 dollars for the work ..he was being greedy and cost me a front tooth. He never offered to fix my tooth and I constantly paying for the tooth to be recemented .. This experence has been a night mare and I would nt want this to happen to anyone. There are too many good dentist out there..find one and stay away from this one! read more
