10 stars!! Chef Dorothy and her team were amazing thru out the entire process. From answering my million and one questions via email, to working out the kinks of our uncooperative oven. They even walked and served us some appetizers (we felt famous!). For apps we chose jerk chicken sliders (phenomenally delicious with a real jerk kick, not that artificial flavor lol), mini chicken waffles (drool, must I say more), and I typically do not even eat lamb but she prepared the lamb chops so perfectly, we inhaled the food and I can still taste it in my Mouth now - perfectly cooked and tender. I can go on about the lamb. For dinner, we chose Mac and cheese for sides (huge portion we even had some for lunch the next day), truffle Mac and cheese (we loved this one), and Caribbean rice and beans (yummy!), and for the entree we chose prime rib with au jus (again I don't eat much meat but I had to dive into this one! Perfectly cooked to tender and it just melts in your mouth), and salmon with mango salsa that was perfectly cooked as well. The entire experience was so great we are in our group chat still raving about it. Chef was very professional over the months we spoke I feel we're best friends now. Definitely will call in with Chef for our private dinners every time we're in Miami area. And did I mention the unbelievable price tag for 9 women?! UH-MAY-ZING. I was trying to put together a last minute private dinner at my house within 24 hours and wasn't sure if I was going to be able to pull it off. I was able to find Chef Dorothy through Yelp and she replied almost immediately and was able to accommodate us, even though it was very last minute. She was very professional and quick through our email correspondence, which was something I appreciated very much. As for the night of the dinner, she arrived exactly on time, was very pleasant to meet, and got started right away. Chef Dorothy's service was exceptional. Her presence was never overbearing but she still provided input whenever we inquired. She had a great demeanor. I requested some items that weren't on the menu and she was still able to accommodate with short notice. The food was delicious. We had the coconut shrimp and chicken and waffles for appetizers and a tomahawk steak that I requested off menu. EVERYTHING was tasteful, we even got seconds on the appetizers. After the meal was completed, Chef Dorothy cleaned the dishes and utensils and made it seem like she was never even there. As for my first time hiring private chef service, this was an excellent experience thanks to Chef Dorothy. 5/5, would definitely recommend her and have her come back. The food was excellent, tasty and plentiful from the appetizers served as our guests arrived to the main courses served family style for a party of 14 including two kids with their own tastes.
