STANLEY STEEMER in Lexington KY came to clean our air ducts on Monday 6/30. We paid them around…read more$500. When they came our heat pump was working perfectly and since they left we have no air circulating to the main floor of our home. The technicians have been back twice trying to repair it but no improvement. We also had 2 separate licensed HVAC repairmen come and both told us that the fins on our air handler system had been damaged preventing air flow. We have been passed around for 10 days now trying to get this taken care of and this morning we were told that they are not responsible and that they did not do the damage thus it's our problem. Since they are the only ones who have been INSIDE our heat pump it's irresponsible for them to not admit the mistake and make it right. We were instructed to contact the corporate office which we did and she forwarded the matter to the insurance company for a potential resolution but this damage is going to cost approximately $8900 -11,000 per the estimates. They have now been so kind to offer us $1,000 to settle it. Now we will be filing a law suit against them just to get back where we were when they came. Beware if you let Stanley STEEMER done to your home. They DO NOT stand being their work and the damage they cause! Don't do it. Great service from scheduling the call, through paying for the work. My system had not been able…read moreto keep up with the heat, which was a departure from last summer. We have one large unit servicing 3200 sq.ft. of a two story house. When I made the service call, it was after lunch, and I received an apology because they couldn't make it out that same day. With the heat wave, I didn't expect to be scheduled the next day. The service tech, Clarence, called first thing the next morning, and arrived about 10 minutes afterward. After inspection, I was advised of my options. The system was low on refrigerant, and I opted to have that, and a leak seal kit added. The system took 4.5 lbs. of new refrigerant. As that was completed, he inspected the inside evaporator, and all 7 air returns. Although the evaporator was clean, and the unit well sealed in the attic, he found my air filters to be too dirty. I regularly date and change my filters, but he found each one was a month past the change date, and filthy. Clarence was very professional, knowledgable, and efficient with his work. He wore little booties on his shoes to protect the hardwoods without being asked. The experience was one of "service". Highly sought, but often lacking with many contractors. Not only will they be servicing our 3 year old home from now on, I recommend Southern Comfort to anyone wanting to find their HVAC problem, and get it corrected without any anxiety or stress.

It was a nasty place of the house, and gave us a lot of anxiety about potential expensive repairs in the future and the health hazards of dwelling above a disgusting, moldy crawl space. After carefully researching things online, we got in touch with Phil at Crawl Space Ninjas. Phil was prompt in communicating with me by phone and by text. We scheduled an initial inspection/evaluation of our Crawl Space. Phil was very thorough and worked with us to develop a plan to remove mold, treat the wood surfaces, install a water/humidity management system and encapsulate our crawl space. He did not try to sell us a package that was more expensive than was needed to address our issues and the price was very fair. When Phil's team began work, I was immediately impressed with their professionalism, hard work ethic, and attention to detail. The soda-blasting was incredible, and completely removed the mold from our floor joists. Thomas, Derrick, and the rest of the ninjas worked tirelessly to trench and level our Crawl Space and the water management system started doing its work right away.
