The owner is very nice and does his absolute best to help out, and sometimes people do not understand what they're looking for when they go in, and do not understand the fragile mess that is poor quality clothes and dry cleaning. I expressed to him my recent concerns of them losing things on my clothes and buttons missing when I come to pick it up during the last 3 visits and instead of him apologizing and showing some concerns, he says find another cleaners and that im giving problems.. The audacity of you as a business owner not caring about your customers.. I had four pair of dress slacks altered. The alterations were to have them let out quarter inch on each side. Paid $70 in advance. Pick them up 5 days later and one pair were let out and fit just fine. She said that one other pair were altered. She pointed out that the other pair were altered but when I tried them on they did not fit. They were too tight. The other two pair she said they were not done in her shop. I took all four pair of pairs back. One pair I was wearing which fit perfect. The alterations were done but the other three they were just like they were when I took them there too tight. And then she said I would be charged to have them done again. Then she refused to talk. She made a scene in front of other customers. Treated me less than a customer period She refused to hear me. Told me that was it. She was done and refused to talk to me. I wasn't loud. She made a scene on me in front of the customers that were there picking up their clothes. Unfortunately you had to pay up front before these services are rendered. What happened to the customers always right? I was treated so bad on a scale of 1 to 10. It was a 15. I will never do business with them ever. I am a business owner in downtown Wilmington. I own a medical a practice. I wear dress slacks everyday. I would have no reason to tell them a lie about services that were supposed to be rendered not being rendered. Watch that lady over there that does alterations. Not a good person. read more

I was told that I could retrieve my clothing item after 5pm by the associate at the first register; however, when I arrived at 5:15, my sweater was unwashed and the next shift associate told me that my clothing wouldn't be available until Monday morning. I was deceived and will not spend my hard earned money at this location again. Beware of the bait and switch that's advertised on their front window. It's total BS. read more

Where do I begin...dropped off my clothes Thursday told I could come back Friday (on my slip) I go back Friday Only to be told that because of Covid my clothes wouldn't be ready until Saturday. I informed the gentleman, who I assumed to be the owner, that I don't live close to the dry cleaner, I need my clothes, I need to take them with me as I needed them for Sunday. He immediately started yelling at me, I said listen I was never told this, had I been told from the beginning It would've taken until Saturday I would've never dropped my clothes off. I even said that I didn't need the money back just the clothes. He still continued to be very rude to me, meanwhile a lady customer comes in and a woman behind the counter by the name of Nina waited on her. After the lady pays for her clothes I laughed, Nina yells at me and says he's looking for your clothes in the back, I said no I'm laughing because she just brought her clothes in on Friday afternoon and was told she could pick them up on Saturday, I dropped my clothes off on Thursday, come to pick them up on Friday and I'm told I can't have them until Saturday. Nina responds with if you're going to be smart you can sit in your car, I replied I will when I get my clothes. Meanwhile Nina continues to run Her mouth, she exchanges some pretty harsh words with me I exchange some harsh words with her next thing you know Nina grabs scissors from the seamstress station and starts to approach me with the scissors in her hand like she's going to shank me. I looked at Nina and told her she better back up or she would be leaving in handcuffs and I promised her that. Meanwhile the gentleman, who is still looking for my clothes in the back of the store is yelling for Nina to calm down and to knock it off, one would get the impression that this is normal behavior in this establishment. After another 10/15 minutes or so of being yelled at by the man in the back looking for my clothes Nina standing in the front being rude finally goes to the back, helps find my clothes, they throw my money on the counter with my clothes and told me to get the F out of their store. I'm not sure if Nina or the gentleman in that store realize what assault with a deadly weapon actually stands for but had I called the cops, Nina could've been charged with it. STAY AWAY! read more

Never again! I tried this cleaners because a good friend of mine spoke highly of the place. I took a dress I picked up from a Goodwill not realizing it had a horrible stain. I dropped the dress off on a Monday and went over every stain with a staff person and he placed orange stickers on the stains. I was informed of the stains could not be removed, a tag would be placed on the garment. I went to pick it up that Monday after 5 as instructed. There was no tag on the garment, so I thought great! They got out the stains. Nope! Stain was still present. I brought it to their attention and was told they would clean it again. Ok. Great, mistakes happen. I went back that Tuesday same thing. This time I was told the garment would be placed in the managers office to "ensure" it was properly cleaned. I didn't go back until Thursday. Once again, no tag so I am hopeful that the stain is gone especially since a "manager" saw it. NO! Same damn stains. I do not believe the item was even cleaned. There's no way stains that size are missed 3 times when notes and big orange stickers have been placed on it. I got my money back and will NOT ever return or recommend this cleaners. read more

I've been going here since I started working in Delaware 4-5 years ago. I've coats, suits, and pants here and I've never had any issues or lost/misplaced items. I will continue to come here because it's the best price I've seen around, and the turnaround time is great read more

Great and quick service. I have taken men's dress shirts/pants and women's dress pants and have had a great experience with their service.

Be very wary. I dropped a hugh dry cleaning pile on the advice of my tailor. I found two moth holes in two sport jackets. To ensure I didn't have any moths it moth eggs hidden in the clothing I was advised to have everything in my closet dry cleaned. I dropped off 6 sport jackets, 7 pairs of trousers, a suit and a duvet. Four of the jackets returned weren't mine. I returned them and the manager said he couldn't resolve my issue because I might be pulling a scam. read more

12/26/2011 This place is the absolute worst place that you can ever go too.. I have taken my clothes there the first time because I have been looking for a reliable dry cleaners. Dropped my clothes off on a Monday picked up my Clothes Tuesday. I got home and realized that a couple of my BRAND NEW polo shirts that i just bought from the store on Sunday and dropped off on monday were stained with a blue dye. I asked to speak the manager ( nathan) who at first seem to be polite said he will take care of it.. Give him a couple of days, I asked in return how do you guys dry clean these clothes and he basically just said we dry clean it with the rest of the clothes. That statement alone made me very suspcious and weary but ok. So I gave him couple of days and went back to pick up my clothes. I picked them up inspected them on spot and the same blue dye were still clearly on my clothes. I asked for him to reimburse me for the clothes and he stated to go buy new shirts and bring the receipts I stated ok this dry cleaners is willing to work with me because they made a mistake. I got there couple days later after purchasing 3 brand new shirts that they messed up and which they kept all 3 shirts. I walk in with my receipt and then he goes i am only going to reimburse you one shirt, i said that was not the deal that was made you told me to go purchase 3 shirts and you will reimburse me for them now you want to switch up your story and re-nig..... In the end he stated that there was nothing wrong with the 2 remaining shirts ( which he never reimbursed me for still). The shirts are clearly damaged and can not be worn. I will never ever go back to the this dry cleaning business again, because of business owners like Nathan which makes it bad for the rest of the people out there.. He will never be successful in anything he does especially not holding his word for his clients.... If you go to this dry cleaners I am warning you to check all the pieces of your clothes, this business contracts out there business to other dry cleaners to do there clothes. They wash your clothes with different other pieces of clothes, as this was told to me by one of the clients who i spoke to outside of dry clean central. Be careful, I understand times are tough and the 1.95 price may seem attractive but again i am telling you be careful. I would never use this place to dry clean my clothing again. I dropped off about 10 white items to be cleaned and they were still dirty when I picked them up. They did not even look like they had been dry cleaned. I was told that the stains would not come out and that they did the best that they could do. I took them to another establishment and they were able to properly clean my clothes. read more

I took my white linen pants there to be cleaned. I picked them up in the evening and wore them the next morning. I got to work and looked down and my pants had yellow spots on them. I went back to the cleaners and the "manager" said that they were water spots and came from my closet. He's an idiot. So I'll go back tomorrow in the morning and talk to the young man that I dropped my clothes off with. I'm not satisfied at all nor do I appreciate being talked to like I'm an idiot!!!! read more

I've been going to Dry Clean Central since it opened because the location is convenient, the turnaround time is quick, and the prices are affordable. I've always known that the quality isn't the same as higher priced dry cleaners so I don't take special items here. The pressing isn't always crisp and I have had an occasional missing item which usually turns up once it's reported. I recently had an order that was messed up and hasn't been corrected. A dress was returned without the matching belt that was attached and a pair of pants were missing from the order. No apologies were given and of course no reimbursement was offered. I know times are hard and no one wants to pay a lot for dry cleaning so if you plan to go here I suggest taking items in small batches, count the number of items you're dropping off and verify the count at the time of pick up. Also, keep track of exactly what you drop off (sizes, colors, brand names, etc.) so they will have a description if something gets lost. read more
