I had a very late check-in. 1:30AM and there was someone avail. to ring me in and had very quick and smooth communication at the front desk. Parking for bigger trucks will be found around the side of the hotel. The room was on the 4th floor. Very clean and everything was in working order. No bugs or loud noises. Gym was clean but in high use. Pool was semi indoors, clean and had an open patio area. Breakfast was simple and not horrible. Not like the bigger hotels where they have made to order staffed stations. More like a step above the continental stuff. Hot eggs , breakfast meats, pancakes, oatmeal, teas and coffee, and juice concentrate drinks, as well as soda pop for those who don't drink coffee or tea. Service at the hotel was more than great. No problems all. It's not a huge resort or anything. It's in a mall parking lot area. The happy hour was not that good. Had hot dogs , chili , cheese , chips, salad, Mac n cheese and pulled pork. Wasn't impressed. I tried to jazz things up but I needed to get to sleep and leave very early so that was my dinner. But that's the reason I took a star off. I would stay here again.

Absolute requirement was an indoor pool with hot tub... and they delivered! I'm pretty sure you could cook hotdogs in that little slice of heaven. As a Hilton Honors member, I typically stay at Hampton Inns. They're not bougie but they're also not low end. They have free continental buffet breakfast with actual eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, and waffles, not just cereal and yogurt. Most have digital check in/out and keys. The rooms DO have mini fridges but no microwaves. Free WiFi. Always clean and tidy. The staff are always helpful and friendly regardless of the location. I typically cruise the halls in my jammies and slippers with my hair a mess like I own the place. This particular location had everything I expected and I loved hanging out in the pool area. The rooms and facilities show the typical wear and tear, but there were indications they're addressing those issues. Even though I'm local, I will definitely stay here again. He doesn't like scalloped potatoes, but their scalloped potatoes was really good. The fresh green beans balanced the meal. I had the Parmesan Chicken with Marinara sauce. Their sauce was very good and fresh. The chicken had good flavor but I would have liked it to be a bit juicer for the price, but it was good. Even the leftovers were good. We also had the Caesar Salad. The salad was very fresh and good size. The croutons were fresh, however, I prefer crunchy croutons. But they were still good. We will definitely go back. The interior is very nice and clean. The price is steep, but the serving is decent for the price.

Then the main floor , swanky upscale dining without feeling pretentious, sit at the bar on large leather rolling bar stools , or comfortable seating at various size tables scattered throughout. Cool vibes on every floor. We checked out the penthouse , oh yes it is also a hotel perfect for wedding parties etc. the penthouse was something out of architecture digest. Wow so beautiful. What I noticed that was very appealing is the entire place is done in a masculine/ feminine design. On top of it all this was an old post office among other things. Chris Shreves the owner transformed it while keeping the nostalgic feel. He has other businesses in the area that were restored as well such as the public school house. Another gem. Can't wait to go back !!!!

Decent enough to rest your head but has left much to be desired at the price point…read more We called around on a Friday night after a snow storm completely shut down the highway and this was the only hotel we could find with open rooms in a 40 mile radius - at a whopping $211 for the night. This price included the $50 pet fee but we were also required to put down an $100 deposit, making our total $311 just to book for the night. This price wouldn't be *awful* if the place/amenities matched the price, but unfortunately that's not the case. Stains in and around the bathroom sink, you can hear the people below/beside you talking, the door to the bathroom takes some serious muscle to shut, and their bed pillows are about half the size of a standard pillow. Pros: Beds are firm and somewhat comfortable. Front desk staff is incredibly personable and kind. They had available rooms when nobody else did. Cons: Not at all worth the price. If you're in a pickle and there is nowhere else to go, this place offers enough to confidently rest for a few hours - but at a steep price. Otherwise, book elsewhere.

Bed and pillows were lower quality. Highway noise was super loud. WiFi was weak and would disconnect if you tried to use it. Air conditioning moaned like it was as tired as the building. Swimming pool and hot tub were both closed until April. Not cool! No breakfast due to Covid. Not even pre packaged bags to go. Masks seem to be optional with employees. I definitely would not recommend staying here.

The desk clerk was very friendly and it was a quick check-in. Upon entering the room, you instantly got hit with a strong musty smell. Humidity was high in the room, even with the AC running. I wouldn't say it was dirty, but it also didn't feel "clean". We slept decently, as the hotel was quiet. We ended up in an accessible room, so it was spacious as was the bathroom. Even with the shower curtain, water found its way out and onto the floor. Breakfast was a little disappointing. One type of prepackaged muffin, packaged oatmeal, 2 cold cereal options, oranges, yogurt for cold things. Milk for cereal wasn't very cold. You could make a waffle. They had hot options, but when we opened the lid all that was left was 3 biscuits. We waited about 10 minutes and then eggs and sausage were brought out. Unfortunately, they were still cold so we had to microwave them. I am Gluten Free so this was one of the few things I could eat and always look for when staying at a hotel. Was disappointed. Overall, I think it is overpriced for the accommodations and breakfast. Would also like to see a few more GF options...choice in fruit, prepackaged GF muffins, etc. This is not why I am giving it 2 stars...just a suggestion!
