What a fun experience! I stopped in to this market while waiting for food from another spot in the strip mall, and I was so delighted.
It's been around for about 2 years, and is run by a family from Nepal.
They offer unique produce, Nepali trinkets and souvenirs, bulk candies, cookies, treats, fish, and rice, galore! I found a lot of new and interesting things, and really enjoyed their extensive section of Achar. I have had it with basically every meal since I visited and have 3-4 different types in my cabinet/fridge now.
I also bought cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli greens, oyster mushrooms, some other type of special mushroom, Lychee juice, lemon rind candy paste, earrings, and incense. The shop owner even gave me some other little candies and a small box of incense as a gift.
I would recommend going when you have some time to look around if you aren't very familiar with Nepali or Indian cooking, or perhaps look up a recipe to try before you go. The amount of new and unique items is super exciting and overwhelming! If there is anything you are unsure of, the shop owner will surely and kindly assist. 5 stars all the way. read more
