Being in Rio, product, product names and rules are different, naturally. Luckily, thanks to Google and a smartphone, I was able to communicate what I needed. I spotted this pharmacy one street behind our hotel (Miramar Windsor). I showed my phone to the pharmacist who then called over an associate to get some translation assistance. After a few clicks of the mouse and some keyboard typing, the product I needed emerged from the back like a diamond ring on a cushioned pillow, lol. SERVICE: When I went to pay, I used my credit card. The girl swiped it and keyed in the incorrect CVV number so it declined. She repeated and it went through. All set, or so I thought. A few days later, I get a call from my bank stating my card was compromised. We went over the charges which showed the decline and valid charge, but there was an unauthorized charge for the following purchase date under a different pharmacy name. That's a red flag. Who's to know what kind of detailed info their swiper stores. TIP: Try to pay with cash. My credit card got compromised while in Rio and I'm not sure where it happened, so this tip appears on all my reviews where I paid with it. OVERALL: Ask and you shall receive. Don't trust any business in Rio with your credit card! One star for having the product I needed in stock and another for great service by the pharmacist and translator.
