Unfortunately it's gone through several transformations over the years even though most people don't recognize or admit the changes. Its still a city filled with tradition and history and it's reputation still says let your hair down and dance like no one is watching. It seems to me that many and I include myself enjoy day drinking in Key West and Duval Street with its many bars providing the opportunity for one to partake in this form of entertainment and fortunately this requires no driving of a motorized vehicle including scooters and mopeds although many seem not to understand this so jaywalking is not encouraged. I love the history here and that it's displayed on every corner, there are so many places to explore and enjoy here so wear your most comfortable shoes and get walking. It would be impossible to create a list of things to do and see here so I won't even go there, so if you're only here for a short visit make your bucket list of items prior to arriving...
