On Tuesday morning at 1:00 a.m. after undergoing a stressful and frightening cardiac incident and short admission at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip, I called this purportedly nearby 24/7 taxi outfit requesting a taxi to return me home after my discharge. The dude answering the phone answers in a brusque and rude tone, "Sorry, we are an hour away and can't help you. Good luck, bud". He hangs up on me. This from an outlet that purports to serve West Islip. At the suggestion of a kind Good Sam employee I called up Lindy's Taxi. They picked me up within 10 minutes and provided a polite and kind driver who got me home promptly and efficiently. I recommend Lindy's without reservation. BOTTOM LINE: Good luck bud.
