We stayed in the Silver Room (aka Argento) the room was just perfect. Located on the same floor as the common and breakfast rooms the room was beautiful and large. A nice size room with a wonderfully comfortable bed and included a walk-in closet and large new bathroom. You can tell a lot of thought was put into decorating. Everything from the headboard and furniture to the pictures on the wall all added to the ambiance of the room. You didn't lose that feeling once you left your room either as it was carried through the common room as well as the breakfast room. The owner, Michael, was very friendly and provided some great recommendations for dinner and lunch the next day. It was a wonderful stay.

There was a crib waiting for the baby and each bedroom was just beautiful and the beds very comfortable with nice linens. The shared bathroom was also beautiful with plenty of room and a large shower. The towels and robes were also very nice quality as well as the shower gel and shampoo. The attention to detail from the rooms to the breakfast (which was perfect) the dining room over looked the piazza was a wonderful way to begin our day. Michael was very nice and helpful greeted us at the door, helped with luggage and brought it to our suite which was very much appreciated after traveling! The hostess who chatted with us at breakfast was just so pleasant! My husband enjoy Ravenna the most out of all of Italy! I have mobility issues so that was important to me. The day before my arrival they emailed me that that location was unavailable and I should go to a different address. The address they gave me was an unoccupied house in the suburbs, a 15 minute cab ride from city center. Door was locked and no one there. When they sent someone she didn't speak English (although they advertised in English on Expedia). I found a different place, you should too.

Staff were happy to modify my booking.com reservation via email in advance of my arrival, which was very helpful! The wifi works very well, the room was neat and clean, bathroom good (with a good shower), the breakfast is a pretty typical Italian B&B breakfast (bread, meat, yogurt, coffee or tea, juice, pastries) and is served late enough for night owls like me. The staff provide a map of Ravenna, point out suggestions for lunch and dinner, and explain how to get a ticket for entrance to the mosaic monuments, which is all easy to understand even with my lack of Italian (the wonderful woman who served breakfast was happy to talk in English). Rooms on the street can be a bit noisy during the day but there's no real foot or car traffic at night so it's pretty quiet. My only complaints: the heat was turned off during the day, so afternoons were pretty cold if one came in for a break between wandering and dinner. The bed was also pretty uncomfortable (you can really feel the springs in the mattress and it's a bit lumpy). But overall, it's a great value for the location, and the staff are super-friendly and helpful; I'd definitely stay there again and have recommended it to friends. One FYI: there is a small step (about 10") at the front door, and the internal stairs are a narrow spiral (with handrails), so people with difficulty with stairs or balance might find the access tricky (there's no space to put crutches next to your feet but a cane might be ok).

It's within walking distance to some wonderful restaurants, sights, the indoor market, and shopping. There's no elevator, but they have a pulley lift for the luggage. If you don't want to climb any stairs, there is a nice large room on the ground floor that's across from the reception area that you can request. We were given the Guidarello room, which was a very nice size room. The bathroom was narrow and long with two sinks and a small shower, and a window for fresh air. It faced an interior courtyard, so it was quiet at night. The bed was firm but comfortable. All of the rooms are lovely and well-decorated with paintings, frescos, and chandeliers. Very much old world Italian charm. The nightly rate was very reasonable. We had breakfast every morning (included in the price of the room) - a nice variety of meats, cheese, eggs to order pastries, cereal, coffee, tea, juice. My correspondence was with Fabio. He always responded promptly. I asked about where to get Covid tested (required for our cruise), restaurant recommendations (tasty tapas and happy hour drinks at Fresco near the market), transportation to the port, etc. While there, I never had the opportunity to meet him. I was sad that I never got to meet him. So, Fabio, if you are reading this, I'll meet you the next time we're in Ravenna! Our hostesses were so friendly and also helpful. Everyone in the group was so pleased with this place. I highly recommend this place to anyone that wants to stay in an ideal location with hostesses that make you feel at home.

The owner and staff were lovely, helpful and ensured that our visit to Ravenna was wonderful. They even bought a variety of gluten-free items to accomodate our family members' dietary restrictions for breakfast. Our rooms and bathroom were immaculate.The hotel is beautifully decorated and its location is ideal for visiting the tourist sites in Ravenna. Highly recommended!
