After wearing the wig only a couple times, it began to get on my nerves (having the hair in my eyes) so I called Tina to make some adjustments. She had the wig for a week and took care of the problem. It's on the small side but it is packed with everything a person would need for their hair (synthetic braiding hair of all colors, bundles of human hair extensions, beautiful lace front wigs and all the accoutrements). I wanted to grow it out and it was in that horrible stage, so being on TV like that was not acceptable. I called everyone close to my house in Williamsburg, Corbin and London. It was Friday and I needed to have it done before Monday morning. But no one was available, no matter how much I pleaded. Then my friend had the idea to go to Lexington to Paul Mitchell. It is scary trusting a stranger but she said this was the best idea because of the instructors. How we, upon arrival a snow delay had canceled them taking walk ins. So I sat in my truck and started calling places. The nice woman who answers the phone was great. I don't know how she did it, but she got German to agree to take me at 6:30 pm(they close at 6pm). I was so scared but felt I would be more embarrassed if I went on TV so I showed up. I felt like whatever he thought was good, I would listen to him and I figured he would recommend the quickest way to fix my hair so he could head home. But he took no short cuts and spent a good amount of time doing the consult before beginning to get to work. The color is beautiful, the hair cut is beautiful. And I am so freaking grateful that these people went the extra, extra mile to help me, when no one else would. I am not joking when I say I spoke to 36 salons before coming across this place.
