When he inspected the kitchen he pro-rated the cost on site and we signed the contract. Then he removed the door panels same visit for the finish work at his shop. He can do the work and run the business. The cabinet guys he sent to finish the job did so admirably. The finished paint work was completed, door panels, cabinet frames, all new soft close door hinges, an upgrade. The cabinet guys are work oriented, no complaints, no smoke. BE CAUTIOUS! I went to Deems to purchase whole solid wood cabinets to replace cabinets which were…read more12 years old and the particle board shelf supports failed causing catastrophic failure. I assumed with their rating I would have any issues. I went in with my wife told Jeff numerous times do NOT show me any cabinets with even an ounce of MDF or particle board-,and my wife said I embarrassed her by doing this, . We paid our initial deposit of 10.5 thousand. The day comes when the cabinets arrived and lo and behold on the second day of installation, but what did I see- shelf supports that were laminated particle. What disgust. Jeff responded the supports were particle board but were made so they would not fail- what a joke. I refused to allow them to install these shelf supports. In addition, I identified shelves that were missing, provided shelf had obvious scalloped defect and 4 inch groove, glass was absent, and the company was originally unwilling to repair the holes in the walls caused by the old cabinetry removal. I made a list but felt Jeff was being unresponsive, so I went to the warehouse. When I identified the issues, I inquired why did the quality control person not identify these issues. The spokesman stated they were too busy to have anyone do any QC on inbound shipments. If it was not for Bubba, the company would have ended with a 2 star review. In the following weeks, Bubba had the shop fabricate the missing shelves and the shelf supports from plywood. Jeff tried to say we needed to order additional shelves for the pantry cabinet that they were not included in the $21,500 cabinets we purchased-I guess people just order the box and the cabinet beside the kitchen cabinet did not require a shelf. I repaired the holes in the wall myself- wanted to know the backsplash was mounted on a solid surface! BLUFF(bottom line up front) I paid the extra monies to have no headaches- the same system from Lowes was approximately 6 k cheaper. I wish to thank Bubba for fixing the issues but my advice is to go to Lowes- easier to resolve any issues.

I was considering hiring Wood Kitchen & Bath in Inverness for my total master bathroom remodeling…read more I met with their salesperson Frank at my house. He told me that he will prepare an estimate, but before the plumber would come out, I needed to pay a nonrefundable $500 for all the work he already had did. Having slow business, they skip the payment later and let the plumber come out anyways. I also wanted to replace my pocket door with old French doors of the same size as the original door. That was part of the original estimate. Another person came out with Frank and looked at my bathroom. They insisted that I would buy the vanity from their company as Frank told me that's where they make the money. Stupid comment from his side. The vanity they offered to me as a custom made would have been the same quality of the same item online, but $1,000 more expensive. So, I asked for an estimate without the vanity. They took it out but added $2,000 to the labor. When I asked why I was told it was for the French doors which were already in the original estimate, but because they would cause so much extra work. That's when I knew that they were trying to rip me off. My current contractor is putting those doors in for me for $300. When Frank from Wood Kitchen & Bath asked me why they did not get the job, I told him that he lost my trust! Something to consider hiring this company!

Had Wood Kitchen and Bath do a major remodel of kitchen and master bath with minor remodel of guest…read morebath. After seeing the results in our daughter's kitchen remodel we knew just where to go. We had a good idea of what we wanted to do and Bill was able to put that plan on paper along with great suggestions that we adopted. He coordinated every step with sub contractors and every one was skilled at their trade. The biggest project turned out to be our big walk-in shower and Todd the tile contractor is meticulous. The company was easy to work with and weren't always hounding for $ at every milestone.

Never followed up. Came to my home and stayed for a hour and half measuring everything, showing…read moresamples, and talking about options. Told me he would get me a quote and be in touch but never did. I reached out after to follow up but no reply. It was a total waste of everyone's time. If you don't want the job at least tell the person.
