I am not someone to put out negative reviews but this company does not even provide a customary and…read moreusual guarantee on their products. We bought a tree that after taxes was $900.00. The tree had leaves when it was planted, we took extra care to water and fertilize it but this spring had no buds. I called about the tree as we have only had it 10 months and unless I bought a $500.00 warranty which is 2/3's the price of the tree, this company will not either refund some of the cost or replace the tree. They installed the tree and told me there was only a free 60 day warranty on it. There was no issue for the first two months after planting it, which I find is a nice way to "cover their asses". No tree is going to die off or show issues that quickly. The staff then stated that larger trees have more issues and I should have bought up on the 60 day guarantee, however NO ONE said that to us when we were buying this tree. I have bought lots of plants, and we previously bought 2 trees elsewhere that WE installed, so I am familiar and not unrealistic in my expectations. Both of our other trees had a free 1 year guarantee. I would never recommend this company unless you don't care about you money or getting a functioning tree. The 1 year guarantee is worth it to go somewhere else, and I shouldn't have to pay 2/3 of the cost of the tree to have one. Go elsewhere where they will back up their plants and trees. I would say that they are shady but because we didn't get a healthy tree we have no shade.

Today we picked up a white birch B&B tree to plant as a memorial to my father-in-law that passed…read moreaway a year ago today. We spoke with Eric and figured out what tree would work out best and what need to be done to plant. This morning they had it all wrapped and ready to go as we needed to transport it to Eau Claire. The tree did great and we were able to surprise my mother-in-law and bring a lot of happiness to a otherwise sad day. And now she has a tree that will remind her of him every time she looks out her window. Thank you for providing us with such a wonderful gift.

Whoa. This place is succulent city…read more My friend is getting married in a couple of weeks and is making her own bouquets and arrangements for the tables (yes, she's crazy). She tracked down Greenworld because they sell their cuttings at much cheaper prices than you'd find at a florist. On Saturday morning, four of us hopped in a car stocked with Isles puppy dog tails and coffee and shlepped ourselves to North Branch to check it out and pick out which cuttings she wanted for the arrangements. You have to make an appointment during their off-season---they are not open to the public otherwise. I've NEVER seen so many succulents in one place. Mainly, the greenhouse is full of hundreds of kinds that I had never seen ever. Strange rose-mimicking plants, bright orange and purple colors, furry friends, snowball cacti... and a new kind of aloe plant that looks like a cylon basestar (nerd alert). See photo: http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/greenworld-greenhouse-north-branch?select=TLWUoAhWW9BCHHh4jCkTIg#TLWUoAhWW9BCHHh4jCkTIg The owner is super chatty, but also informative about how to take care of the plants and when would be the earliest to put the bouquets together. For example, did you know that you are supposed to clip succulents fairly often and then replant the clippings. Otherwise some of them just get tall and sad. He was nice enough to make cuttings for a wedding inspiration board, so to speak. We messed around with combinations of different plants for a while and then let him know what the plan was. After that, I roamed the aisles again and picked our some new additions to my own succulent family (I've covered my whole bay windowsill with them). I picked our four good size plants that were only $5 each and not things you'd typically see in a store. Normally, they do accept credit cards, but it's cash or check during the off-season. The cylon plant has shown no signs of attacking the other plants, but there are many copies... and they have a plan.
