The male server responded by being extremely defensive and even more rude and saying they didn't care if they offended tourists. Luckily, we still did have a good meal on the nice patio because everything we ordered was delicious (chicken pho with rice noodles, a spicy tomato broth soup, and a California II roll). Only recommend if you can stand to be treated badly, though.

But this restaurant, although small and quaint, blows me away every time I eat here. You can always tell if a Japanese restaurant is good by their miso soup, and as a starter the Miso soup broth was above and beyond my expectation. The udon is big enough for two people, in case you were planning on ordering for one person. The nigiri is hand cut and served so exceptionally I was impressed. The food takes a while to come out, but well worth the time. Note, this restaurant only takes cash or EC. So bring your Euro!
