As a project manager in the construction field, I've worked with a lot of contractors, and I can honestly say S & S Paving and Concrete are the most honest and reliable team I've ever dealt with. They always go above and beyond to address every concern I have, no matter how small, and they never give me any negative pushback on my million-and-one requests. Their pricing is fair, their crew is super nice, and their work speaks for itself. I will never use anyone else for my paving, concrete, or curb work -- these guys are the real deal!

We discussed the scope of the work to include: * remove existing asphalt and base layer and putting in a new base then asphalt * raise the height of the asphalt so water will not pool The work is completed and water puddles over an inch deep in the driveway. They did not raise the height of the driveway and is below the grass. They did not remove existing material and lay down a new base layer. The asphalt is so thin grass is growing threw it. There is a large noticeable hump in one place because they did not properly prep the surface. Once the job was completed, they asked for $8,000. I previously left a review that was negative but the owner called and asked that I remove the review in exchange for them correcting all the issues. I did remove the review; they never came out to resolve the issues and now they are now not responding to calls or text. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

This is nothing new for Candor and have now changed their name to Florida Metal Buildings, LLC. To be clear, they do not install or manufacture your building. They only do the dirt work and concrete. Both were subpar. There are over 20 people in my neighborhood with the same complaints. If you don't want to take our word for it, visit the county and ask about complaints made against them and their work.
