All the employees here are warm and welcoming!! The exam was thorough as was the attention to every detail. I am a contact lens wearer and Dr. Williamson was very informative about all my options. Making sure I thoroughly understood them. My contacts were received within a week and Dr. Avirett did the lens fitting appointment. She also made sure the lenses fit comfortably and my vision was right. These contacts are the most comfortable with the best vision I have ever had. My husband went with me and was so impressed he made himself an appointment. He saw Dr. Avirett and had a very thorough exam. She took the time to ask lots of questions and made sure she understood the exact symptoms and changes he had noticed. She personally took us to the optical side to make sure the right new glasses were being ordered. We had such a wonderful experience I recommended them to my Mother. She has already been in, ordered her glasses, and is happy. As long as everyone's glasses come in as well fitting and have as great vision as my contacts, they will have us for life.

This interaction left us feeling uncomfortable and concerned. Unfortunately, just a few days later, my mother had a very similar experience with the same staff member. As long-time customers, this was particularly disheartening, as we have come to expect a higher level of professionalism and courtesy. We understand that everyone can have difficult days, but respectful communication is essential in a customer-facing role. We hope this feedback is taken into consideration so that future patients receive the level of care and respect they deserve.

At times, and on some days, the waiting area can be crowded - especially at the main office in San Antonio. Dr. Brunin is a corneal specialist who is at different offices on particular days. Miriam is amazing coordinating appointments and screening patients. I don't think I've ever had a long wait. I plan to continue seeing them to follow up on my vision.

Well, they very quickly determined that I had an appointment in San Antonio, and instead of saying "that's a you problem" immediately called the SA office and transferred my appointment to their office. Sure, I had to wait 5 minutes past my appointment time, but they got me in! It was just an eye exam, but the entire office was committed to making sure I got seen. Not only that but because I have two insurances that cover vision to a degree, they chose to use the one that got me out of there without me having to pay my 10 dollar copay. I didn't even know my other insurance covered eye exams!! I did find out that I need glasses, and I thought about taking away a star for the news... But that's not their fault, and they really were a lot of fun to visit. (I wasn't really going to take away a star for that.) While I still don't know what kind of glasses I want to get, they do have a lot to choose from, and can order different colors and sizes if you think you'd like something specific. Edit... The colors I now see are so intense and accurate. I now only need to wait one month and I can get a new pair of glasses. Every aspect of Dr. Cravey's practice is very well organized and convenient as the surgery center is located beside his office with plenty of parking. All appointments were on time and to the point.
