He got rid of my Lyme's Disease and I liked him so much that I continue to go to him as my general practitioner. He is super easy going and open to alternative treatments. For example, he wrote me a prescrition for hyperbaric oxygen treatment to get rid of the Lyme's when none of his other patients had tried it. That treatment seemed to make a huge difference in my recovery. He also knows his western medicine very well and his consultations are fast and you do not have to wait long. I went to Dr. Liccini for pain in my legs…read more First, I was refused treatment unless I paid $50 in cash since my health insurance was from a private company. When I asked if this could be done via transfer since, I was not carrying that cash at the time, I was told to leave. I left and took money out of the bank with sore legs, could barely walk. Then stood in the waiting room for 40 mins. My major problem is with the diagnosis. I was told to take pain medication and stay off the legs for 4 weeks. There was no further investigation into what could be causing the problem. no ultra sounds, no referral.. which I find extremely careless and irresponsible. Now, 5 months later after seeing another Doctor, I am finally closer to a diagnosis, since being to an orthopedist and radiologist.

Doctors are…read moresupposed to do a careful examination of a sprained ankle but in her case she twisted it so hard that I yelled out in pain. She barely apologized. Now after 1 year, I'm still having pain at the spot she twisted, not where the original sprain was. On numerous occasions she did not listen to me about my injuries. I don't like taking pills and I told her that. At the end of my ankle sprain visit, she told me she is not prescribing anything other than ibuprofen and muttered something about the opioid crisis implying that I only came in to check on my sprained ankle to get my hands on opioids. She is extremely overrated as a doctor and very backwards in her thinking. My assessment of her in 2017 is that she barely gives a crap about her patients and probably thinks she is too big to fail. Loser!
