I was an active participant in it. And now I completely understand what is needed, what it is going to cost and how long it is going to take. I so appreciate that level of transparency. I want to update my review and give Dr. LeMay five stars…read more Through this experience, I've come to realize how much of life really comes down to communication -- or the lack of it. I can admit that sometimes I jump too quickly when I feel unheard, and my writing (often done through AI) might come across stronger than what I'm truly feeling at the time. Unfortunately, things between Dr. LeMay and me escalated all the way to small claims court before we could find resolution. But after mediation and appearing in front of the judge, I saw a side of Dr. LeMay at the end that I hadn't before -- he gave kind advice, and it made me realize this was never about bad intentions on his part. Looking back, I think much of the tension came from fear and misunderstanding on my side and a lack of open communication on both sides. I'm not perfect -- I know I can be quick to react when I feel like I'm not being heard. But seeing everything come full circle, I honestly believe Dr. LeMay is a good person and a skilled dentist who just had an unfortunate situation with a patient (me) who didn't always fully understand the process. Regardless of the court's outcome, I consider this matter settled in my heart. I learned a lot about communication, patience, and listening -- lessons I want to carry forward into my own business ventures so that customers always feel heard and understood.
