Never on time with appts. ..get ready to sit and wait and wait. Took 3 phone calls to them to get my prescription called in after 2 trips to CVS to pick it up after they said it was called in. Wrote wrong day on appt card for follow up appt. ...place is not well run. Some of nurse assistants are nice but don't plan on seeing the doc...you will get 30 seconds with nurse practitioner. ...I will not come back here ever....EVER....don't waste your time...they don't care. To update they were on my doctor's approved referral list with my insurance so I chose Dr Norman. Then when I arrived for appt I asked his check in person if my insurance was accepted and was told it was. And when I check out all I had to pay with my copay. Then about 30 days later I received a bill for over $300 dollars. When I called and asked about it I was told they do not accept my insurance and I would be responsible for that bill. I called my doctor's office who said they were now having problems with them and they were not referring them anymore. My insurance company also did a conference call where we spoke with their billing department who refused to help and stated I was responsible and they do not hold their front desk responsible. The lady was rude to me and my insurance company rep.... And stated if I don't pay they will send it to collections and ruin my credit. This office is in Gibsonton is horrible and I can't comment on his other offices but many of the reviews I found on Google relating to all of Dr. Norman's office were negative and his star rating was low. I will never use him again, will never refer him and will warn everyone against using him. As a Realtor in the area I meet many new to the area people and residents so hopefully I can save all of them the horrible experience I had. read more

Switching doctors. They sold me face cream that I found online for half the price. They also have a very unprofessional staff and they seem to always have new people working there. This last visit I had like three people come into the room and two of them were from the adjoining business that focuses on cosmetic lotions and potions. If I wanted beauty products I would have saved my co-pay and went to the mall. I wish I could leave zero stars but that wasn't a option. Have a new derm in same area now and am just glad I only went to normans for a few visits. Wish I would have read these reviews before though read more

Great office with great staff. The nurse practitioner, Holly is wonderful. The appointment ran on time and the staff was all friendly and helpful. It is sad to see some negative reviews as I had nothing but a great experience. The poor reviews are old, so perhaps there is different staff and management in place now. I give this office 5 stars! read more

Horrible place. Called and requested to be seen 5 days after being given a prescription (from the nurse practitioner) that hasn't helped. The condition is worse, but was told I could not be seen until the original 2 week follow-up. No dermatologist is so busy one follow-up emergency walk-in cannot be helped. I told the receptionist I was miserable and was told she was sorry but there was nothing she could do. I would close this place down if I could. People not in the medical field depend on these places, and to be denied service is pathetic. Turning away a previous patient who you were supposed to have helped to begin with is beyond bad patient care, it should be considered illegal. This place hasn't been open long, with the way they treat people, hopefully they won't last long. Unsympathetic office staff who schedules and/or doctors who don't want the "extra patients" should not be in business. Please do not go here, they are not in existence to help or even care. read more
