Dr. Hartman saved me from surgery. I'd been wearing wrist splints for what my primary doc believed…read morewas probably carpal tunnel. After 3 years of wearing the wrist splints, my husband dragged me, unwilling, to Dr Hartman for a second opinion. I had never seen a chiropractor and didn't think I had any reason to. Dr Hartman has an exceptionally kind and receptive bedside manner. He pointed out the nerve that was most likely the culprit of my hand and wrist problems, and explained why the problem was probably not carpal tunnel. He explained that because the wrist splints prevent full range of movement, I was doing more harm than good by wearing them because over time, they would cause muscle atrophy. He taught me a few easy stretches and massages to practice whenever I had symptoms. With the anatomical understanding of the radial nerve problem, I can now manage the situation without intervention. I've been free of the wrist splints for months and am so grateful to this doctor for saving me from unnecessary surgery.

After telling me I needed multiple visits a week to get "on track" to feeling better, they then tell me I'm no longer covered anymore because I'm only allowed 22 visits a year and my visits will now be $65 a visit. As unhappy as I was to hear about this, I still scheduled appointments with the office. Only until today 7/14/23, I explained to the receptionist how I would not be scheduling any more appointments ahead of time and I would like to instead call and schedule appointments if and when I needed them. Everything was fine and good until the end of my appointment their doctor aggressively questioned me about my "money issues" that the receptionist was telling her about and why I wasn't scheduling appointments anymore. I found it very unprofessional for anyone, let alone the doctor adjusting me, to make claims of a patient having "money issues". I will NEVER be back.
