Though not a patient of the practice, I…read morefound myself needing to have an ultrasound on my leg to rule out DVT, but the problem was that it was a Friday (when most offices close early), and the office my doctor originally recommended is closed on Fridays. That left few options, such as waiting until the following week or visiting the ER... which is the last thing I wanted to do. A friend's boyfriend suggested I call this place up, as it's his regular doctor. I did, and they said to come in at 4:15 in the afternoon and to bring a book. I was happy to have a loose appointment, though I expected a long wait. But as soon as I arrived, they whisked me past the people waiting and into a room, and the doctor showed up 15 minutes later. (For the record, my case was for a possible pregnancy complication, so I appreciate them taking it seriously and making time for me.) Everyone I encountered was very friendly, asking me questions about the baby, listening to my concerns about my leg, and doing things quickly and efficiently. Within 30 minutes, I was seen and cared for (with a positive diagnosis of nothing wrong, except perhaps a pulled muscle). While the office itself is nothing fancy, the people are nice (and Herr Dr. Andreas sort of looks like Harrison Ford) and professional. They also wrote a letter explaining what they did and what they found (or didn't) for my gynecologist, which was a nice touch. Highly recommended!

I have been to Doctor Dagmar Frese-Beuthner 3 times in the past year and a half and I can't ask for…read morea better, more patient and understanding doctor. I don't know if she speaks English. But on my first visit I just took a shot with my bad German, and we kind of established our relationship in that language. She has a very sweet demeanor, and I feel really comfortable with her. She's given me good advice, and yeah. If you're sick and need to see a doctor in the Reuterkiez she's a good one.

He balances medicine with lifestyle recommendations in a realistic way, as well as using both western and eastern methods (like acupuncture). I was referred to him from a friend and have since sent a couple more friends to him And we all agree he's great. The practice is set up walk- in clinic style, so you don't have to have an appointment (although you can make an appointment if you want). I also worked with his nutritionist for a while and she was also very nice and helped me make some real differences in my health.
