Wow

I do not recommend this dermatologist as I have come to experience the greed-driven attitude of…read morethis doctor. I originally went to have my blackheads examined and obtain advice on removing them, but Dr. Broichmann ordered a complete skin examination of the body, which cost 58.99 euros and a computer-supported photographs of various regions of the body-- which cost a godd***mn 101.48 euros! The nurse at the front desk was unfriendly and rushed in me filling out the registration form, sending me to a room by myself for forty minutes before Dr. Broichmann brought to his office, sat down in his cluttered, messy desk, and asked what he could do for me. My chief complaint was for the blackheads, but he said I needed surgery on my right scapula because of a growth--that I didn't even pay attention to. Wrote three prescriptions (creams and some sort of soap) and sent me out of his office with a faint smile and not even a handshake or explanation of why the heck I needed surgery on my shoulder. He had stated that I would need a few sessions of "peeling" every three weeks, and I was already thinking about the insurance (we have private, and "peeling" sounds more of a cosmetic therapy than a clinical treatment). I had pulled my trousers down for him to examine my legs, but I was a bit surprised when he pulled my underwear down a bit to look at my butt and he didn't say anything--I was a bit taken aback... The total bill summed to 176.56 euros and I had asked the attendant at the front desk about the doctor charges--and my jaw dropped as she said the number. I was very surprised at the expensive fee just for a consultation, dermatoscopic evaluation, and exam. I won't go back to that practice as the staff aren't friendly, the prices are exorbitant, and the doctor couldn't even expand on why I needed surgery, what it was for, the anesthesia used, or outcomes and risks, etc. The lady at reception asked when I would be up for peeling and surgery and I told her that I had better think about it before I call the clinic again. I kind of wasted my time-- yeah, I know I have blackheads, and it'd be awesome if you didn't get off topic and start talking about my shoulder. -_-
