Back in the days, the practice was run by the legendary Rainer Matthies who handed everything over to his equally legendary son Jan Matthies. As he's really popular it can be difficult to get an appointment on a short notice. However, there's always the possibility to get an emergency appointment if absolutely necessary. What makes this dentist perfect to me is the fact that I have recommended him to quite a few people over the years and all of them are his patients as well now. I think this is a very good sign. Apart from all of that the whole team is really friendly and professional. I never had an issue here. You may have to wait a little for your appointment, but the wait is totally worth it.

The last dental visit…read morelasted a mere 15mins (?)(professional cleaning)and she was horrible but I thought that was the German procedure but Dr. Heymann took extra care and was gentle he took about 40mins professionally cleaning my teeth. I definitely will recommend him to other friends who are expats cause he can speak English too! He seems like a dentist who is the qualitative type and not the quantitative type where each procedure done is more money in the pocket -- Dr. Heymann is definitely not that. I asked him how often I should come in for a cleaning -- he told me every 6 months with my condition and my previous dentist (money-grubbing) told me every 2-3 months huge difference. He is honest and cares for his patients!
