I wanted to get a rhinoseptoplasty done and I looked no further than this clinic. I had originally scheduled the surgery during COVID, unfortunately I couldn't fly from USA to Germany due to the restrictions but doctor Hofheinz and his team were very accommodating and understanding. We rescheduled the surgery for April and I couldn't be happier with my result and the whole experience itself. From the front desk to the nurses, the anesthesiologist and the surgery with Dr. Hofheinz - the experience was made very easy, understandable and excellent. They accommodated the language barrier for me as well, since I don't speak German, everyone was nice enough to speak English so I could understand and know what's going on and the process itself from beginning to end. I couldn't thank Dr. Hofheinz and his staff enough for changing my life for the better! I chose Dr. Holger Hofheinz as my surgeon over millions of surgeons here in the United States and I am hands down very happy and proud of my choice.

When you shop there frequently you also get silver payback coins. My dad collects them and they have a display of things you can then cash them in for. lol I love it. Just walked out with two amazing Reisenthel shopping totes. The staff are all well trained and helpful. This is a far cry from an American pharmacy! No wait to fill your prescriptions! If something is not in stock they usually can get it the same day. I always buy aspirin effect when I'm in Germany it's a powder firm that works super fast. Also got a nifty mosquito repellent bracelet this time that emits some high pitch sound. I guess I'll see if it works.

I stayed at Helios for 3 days last month after my family doctor got concerned about my very high…read moreblood pressure. She referred me to the hospital to get checked out properly asap so I showed up at their ER on a Wednesday. The front desk nurse advised me to expect long waiting time since the hospital was at capacity, but my initial processing actually took place within 30 min. The doctors at the ER were quite concerned about my blood pressure as well so I was officially taken in and a bed was requested for me. Over the next couple of days, the hospital turned me upside down to make sure they I did not have any heart or kidney problems. They did a lot of different tests and finally found a medication combination that would take the blood pressure down. I was pretty impressed with the short waiting times and the friendly service the doctors and nurses provided. Everyone was really friendly and tried to be very transparent with everything that was happening or supposed to happen. Even the night nurse was really nice when my elderly roommates used the call button a few times each night. I am only deducting 1 star because the food really sucked (as usual in hospitals - at least from my experience :/), their cafeteria is only open from 10 to 3 and does not have a lot of food options, and they did not even provide hand soap in the bathrooms (what are you supposed to do if you are hospitalized without notice? I think this is a big NoNo and all of my 3 roommates at the hospital agreed).
