4) But you are also away on small animals (a vet medicine chest, homeopathy, traditional medical products, Chinese herbs, reptile and exotic animal consultation hours!!!). House calls of registered doctors, no matter whether for humans or animals have always been a political topic. I am of the opinion that humans don't ask the doctor just for fun to come to their home and it is better to call one time too often than too less. How do you think about that?
We could even conduct more house calls, but there is not enough time. That's why we only carry out real emergencies, especially euthanasia on house calls. It is important that the animal can stay in the environment it's used to and the humans can take peacefully and undisturbed leave of them.
It goes without saying that we also visit horses at home in their stables. But starting with autumn 2013 horse owners can bring their horses to us. As of late we bought our own piece of land, a few blocks down the street from our vet office, thus we can also treat our horses ambulatory and stationary.
5) What would you tell young people in order to be able to survive, finally it was for sure not easy to build up?
Young people should set themselves targets, follow them. It won't be always easy. Don't let others discourage you! Setbacks belong to life. No matter whether it is about an apprenticeship or a university education. Education is important. You just plain simply have to fight it out. There is no way without any effort.
There is a chance for everybody. If you look at other parts of the world, young people have much less possibilities than here in the Western World. Here there are much more educational institutions, educational directions, workplaces in general, organizations, institutions which you can address.
Lots is free of charge, in other countries not.
The bottom line is that it always depends on you what you can make out of life, whether you twiddle your thumbs or whether you struggle yourself and achieve something yourself.
Isn't it a great feeling to be able to say - I managed it all myself!!!
