This is my…read morethird attempt today to reach someone at the office after receiving a call from them saying that the doctor would like to reschedule my appointment to a later date and to please call them back. Some would tell me to reschedule the appointment online, but as far as I understand it, first-time patients need to call to make an appointment. Okay. And here I am, waiting on hold. 25 minutes and counting. Fantastic. Edit: It has been 35 minutes. Still holding. Edit 2: After 45 minutes of holding and waiting to speak to someone, I got hung up on. I called back immediately and got the message that it is now outside of their phone hours and to call back during regular business hours. This is maddening. Is this what I have to look forward to with socialized healthcare??? Edit 3: Finally got a hold of someone the next day and upped the original 2-star rating to 3 stars because everyone on the phone was super nice and friendly. Goes a long way when having to see the doctor for stuff.

I was waiting out of the exploration room till my wife wanted me to get in to see the ultrasound. My wife said: Jorge, get in! And before getting in I even asked to the doctor: Can I get in? The doctor said yes. And when I came in I wanted to see the screen well so I approached myself a bit and pointed out asking "is that thing pulsing the heart?" She got me back in a rude way:" stay away". After that she didn't give any details. It was the first time that I was seeing an ultrasound from my first child. Later on, in the other room I had to ask her the size and the stage. She was rude. I'm a medical doctor(n.col 38/38/08055-Spain) and I don't recomend this place for their lack of politeness and professionalism, as well as their will to be done quick with the appointment. It was a private appointment payed in cash. I don't recommend this place.

Dr. Marquardt and his staff are very competent and took very good care throughout my pregnancy. All…read morethe important appointments and check-ups were well-planned way in advance. Dr. Marquardt always made time to see me or answer questions outside of the regular appointments in case of issues and emergencies. He takes time to explain things adequately. The waiting time in the clinic is quite short. And its the only clinic I found where not just the doctor is comfortable talking in English but also the forms and some other paperwork can be provided in English.

As an American…read moreexpat, I really appreciate that she has practiced in the US and understands the differences between the US/German gyno experience. As a mother of two, I love how she has late appointments so I can go when the kids are in bed and my husband is home. She's a true advocate for her patients as well--she was referred to me by a friend who recently delivered. From an English-speaking standpoint, the only tricky thing is that her front office staff doesn't speak English--but they'll get her on the phone personally to speak with you if you have any questions, scheduling, etc.

Firstly, she did not accepted the European incurance card. She refused to talk to me in German becase she "spoke" English (Unfortunately my German is way better than her English). She asked me questions which were very unappropriate. She diagnosed me with a very "condylomata vulvae" which are genital warts caused by HPV without doing any proper examination. I asked if it is HPV, she responded maybe, but refused to do further testing saying "it takes too long", and then she gave me some medicine saying "it will not help" (Vagi Hex - which is medicine definitely not for genital warts). I am in long-term relationship, I have not been with any other partner in last 2 years and my partner said the same. Thus I did not understand how it could be possible. Moreover she gave me an reciept saying what procedured she (according to the reciept) did - many of them she did not do. Scared, shocked, crying I decided to be checked by my doctor (week later, because I was at a conference) who took samples and gave me totally different diagnosis - he said that the Vagi Hex helped to cure some random inflamation caused by the usual things (stress, sauna, whirpool, too much sweets, bad underwear, etc). In the end the medicide she gave me helped to cure the inflamation but her diagnosis was something totally different! The possitive about her practice are her nurses who were very kind and helpfull. I am concidering an official complain. I do not want any other woman to be treated like this!
