We don't experience this very often nowadays and I would give 9 million stars, if I could. I was greeted by a gentleman, as soon as I approached the counter. After less than a minute, he was already on the shop floor explaining about the variety of Androids he had for sale. I was looking for a phone and, being one of those annoying customers who don't understand a thing about those products, I felt so looked after by this incredibly kind man. He was pointing at different phones, prices and highlighting the features of each product. As if this was not already good enough, I mentioned I had an issue with my phone an he said immediately he could have a look at it. After calling VIRGIN 9 times asking for help, I was sure nobody else would be able to sort out the issue. How astonished I was, when he gave me my phone back and everything was up and running. He did (in a matter of minutes), what nobody could do in days. An absolute legend ! I do not know if he is the Manager there, but his name is Jonathan and I am extremely grateful for his assistance and for his fantastic customer service. Such an asset to team !!!! Because of him, I will not only recommend the shop, but I will also visit it again soon to buy another phone. Merci du fond du cœr pour votre aide. J'en suis vraiment reconnaissant !

I bought a Nokia phone with a Virgin SIM after the clerk told me that it was unlockable at CeX. Thinking that I could unlock the phone with CeX, I went ahead and purchased the phone. Only to find out later that CeX DOES NOT unlock this type of phone. Now I am stuck with a phone that I cannot even use. On top of that, they took the SIM card back so I'm stuck without that as well. I went back for two days in a row to try and fix the situation. Finally, I decided to go to some local phone shops just to get a proper explanation. They were quick to let me know.... I got a a raw deal and that only a fool would buy a phone like that. This has left me emotionally distraught as I can't get in touch with my family. I haven't seen my family in four years and this was my only means of contact. Thank you for everybody who is reading this page. I hope this never happens to you. God bless you all!

Inconvenient, but I said I would stop by on my way home then to try again. When I arrived the cashier looked at me and said he just left so again I couldn't make the return. I told him that it was ridiculous that I had to keep coming back and he proceeded to tell me it was my fault because I had come just before closing time and also that I should have paid in cash and this wouldn't be an issue. Due to a change in personal financial circumstances, I sought to cancel the order a few days later. The shop refused to cancel the order. I was eventually left in the position of being offered a refund of slightly more than £500, with the rest (almost £1200) being a 'restocking fee'. The managing director, Mr Melville, dealt with the situation in an appalling way. He stated in emails to me that he had explained that the order was non-revocable when placed. He did not do so; his assertion that he did is factually incorrect. He also was very condescending in his response. Despite the fact that my personal circumstances had changed, in repeated emails he continued to refer to my initial enthusiasm for the A9. When a customer has indicated that they no longer want a product and (as I did) had proactively volunteered to pay a *reasonable* restocking fee, how does it assist to make comments like that? I asked him in my last call if he thought he was a decent businessman. He said he thought he was. You will need to draw your own conclusions, but I would have nothing further to do with this establishment. They have cheerfully deprived me of almost £1200.
