Dozier knives are good; I have three of them. Unfortunately, however, the business doesn't stand by their accessories, the sheath. After attaching the wilderness sheath to my belt for less than 45 minutes, the plastic which attaches to the web loop snapped. I figured this was a one-off-defective product, so I emailed them about it. It took three emails, a Facebook message, and over a month for Kerry Peal to respond to me. Horrible customer service. Their solution was to spend an additional $85 on a new sheath. This was a disappointment, as I only suspect that a new sheath would likewise break after short use leaving me in a cycle of replacing a bad product just to use it properly.
I liked dozier knives because I thought they would be great knives that last. Now I believe that their service and accessories lack integrity. It makes me question their knives as well. I'll look to other companies in the future. read more
