They took one look, wrote something up which only covered replacement and didn't discuss possibility of repair. Insurance company wanted explanation but HVAC guy faded away on me. Then I called Clarke Air. They responded soon, worked with my agent and we got the OK. Parts arrived in good time. Four trucks arrived this morning with several men. They replaced the outside unit and made a huge modification to the furnace inside. This was necessary due to the changes in equipment after 20 years. Afterward they cleaned up the insulation and hurricane debris that had been tracked in and removed all the discarded parts. I couldn't even find a cigarette butt after they left four hours later. Very courteous.

After getting a quote from another insulation company that seemed to be off in some way (too hard to explain here), we wanted a second opinion. Flores Foam was recommended by a roofer we were using, so we contacted them. They were able to get in to do an estimate right away and made us feel very comfortable. They were professional and provided good explanations of the issues we were having. We ultimately didn't end up purchasing the house and so we didn't move forward with service from Flores Foam, but because of the professional and quality service they provided in doing the estimate and providing an explanation, I wanted to give them a shout out. The price quoted was a little higher than the first one we received from the other company, but we would have gone with Flores Foam because of their service quality over the less expensive option.
