My boyfriend just moved here and this was the first place we checked out! I am so impressed by their lunch! I was expecting just an average sandwich, quick for lunch. However, it turned out to be one of the most delicious avocado BLT's I've ever had (I almost always order anything with avocado and bacon if it's an option). My boyfriends chicken salad was also amazing. The tomato bisque has large slices of tomatoes, which I loved! The chips came with the sandwich. The girl who waited on us was so sweet. Outside, they have the cutest patio. Perfect for catching up with a friend, a cute photo op, or even bringing your children! They have a small playground at the very back of their patio. They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. I was told their lunch and dinner menu are the same! I will need to check out their breakfast soon! read more

We were in town for a couple days for my boyfriend's job and wanted to hit up a coffee place before we day tripped to Sioux City and found this place. The decor is incredible, and the outside area is so dreamy, I'd hang out there forever. We bought their cute little tumblers like good tourists. The rest of the experience was...flat. Our total for some of the cheapest (mid tasting) ingredients on the planet was nearly $80. The tumblers were both under $14 (just so you don't think of course it was $80, you got two tumblers). The trash was piled so high you couldn't put anything else in it. The coffee somehow had all kinds of extra ingredients and still just tasted like straight espresso. The food took so long we were nearly done with our coffees by the time we got it. There was a whopping one other person in there so it's not like they were in the weeds. But this spot?! This decor?! It's like an incredibly gorgeous person with a vapid personality. IDK how else to describe it. read more

Great service and equally good food. The atmosphere is what one would want and expect in cafe

Very nice employees and great atmosphere! Would definitely recommend! Will be back when I visit again!

Super cute spot! I love the little kind of terrace area outside. The menu had a wide variety of different beverages and snacks, I love when a coffee spot experiments with their flavors. Breakfast came out quickly and the staff was very friendly. read more

Very quaint little coffee shop in downtown Norfolk. I stopped in for a quick beverage as I was leaving town. The pastry/treat display case overwhelmed me. I wanted to try everything in it. Unfortunately I was too full and I'm trying to watch my overindulgence. I had a chai tea latte that was very tasty and the staff was very friendly. read more

Downtown Coffee Compamy - So many treats!! - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Norfolk, Nebraska

I asked for a large milky way chiller, and they gave me a small one. It's a Monday morning, and they're not busy inside; just a few old folks sitting at the table and talking shouldn't have been that complicated for them to get my one order right. I wonder if they gave me my order wrong because I didn't walk in the building looking like a good ol' boy snob with a purse or suit on. But since the coffee was decent, I'm willing to give them another star. read more

I/we..like this except...no honey today! Dang. Raw sugar will do however. Hummingbird Cake is real good. Other real nice looking food options are also available and displayed. Nice enclosed patio area and just a really neat place. Good find. read more

A great local place here. Sure, there's those national sandwich chains around that are everywhere else, but this place has a nice atmosphere with comfy chairs and cool light fixtures. I stopped in here for lunch (Yelp suggestion) and had the DCC Deli sandwich (choice of turkey, roast beef or ham; mine was turkey) and an iced green tea with honey. Also, every sandwich comes with a cookie! There was easy street parking across the street and the staff was super friendly. There are many cookies, sweet rolls, etc to choose from here as well as coffee (of course). I will have to come back and try the coffee and one of those sweet rolls or maybe have another sandwich! read more

I always have high hopes when I go to DTC and I'm always slightly disappointed. Today I got a caesar salad and it's nothing but a lot of lettuce, some cheese and some chicken... no tomato or any other vegetable. Not even any croutons. To be fair: that's what's listed on their menu. $7 is way too much for these 3 ingredients. read more

Doing a two week stretch in Norfork Ne and came across the place Excellent service and good food - the only complain is that they are closed on Sunday - that day I had nothing to do. read more

Downtown Coffee Compamy - Breakfast - yummmm - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Norfolk, Nebraska

My family & I moved to Norfolk last month, and finding a nice coffee shop to serve as my "third place" was near the top of my list. I really like DCC! Good coffee, very nice staff, comfortable environment, & a neat location in the old downtown section of the city! read more

My drink that I got was amazing, the lady that took my order was also amazing! I truly recommend this place to all of my friends!

nice quiet place to sit and relax and have a drink and read a book or look at your laptop :)

This place is fantastic! I drove in from Omaha on business and was able to have the best latte paired with a home made cinnamon roll. Calming atmosphere - great staff - exactly what I needed after 2 hours on the road!! read more

Love the vibe here! It's welcoming and relaxing, a great place to sit and sip and get some work done. I highly recommend the chicken salad sandwich, it's one of the beat I've tried! Gotta have it again so I'm gonna stop by to pick one up on the way to the airport. One of my favorite stops in Norfolk! read more

Wow wow wow. I can't say enough good things. The layout is the thing you notice first. They have a front patio, a side patio (complete with playground for your little ones in the back!) the tables and sodas are spaced far enough apart to add a sense of privacy but can fit anywhere from 2 to 8 people at one table. Their coffee is splendid, along with their mochas and thick juicy smoothies. They offer an array of different meals from breakfast biscuits and gravy to simple sandwiches. My advice to the owner of DCC? Add panini's to your menu! They compliment coffees, teas, and such forth way better than a beef dip sandwich. (Which is still excellent in taste.) they also offer salads and a child's menu for your little ones. Did I mention their home made pastries that are soft and fresh? The owner was able to create an artistic yet relaxing scene for you to enjoy your caffeine anyway you see fit. I will return many times to this fantastic little nook in norfolk Nebraska. read more

Okay... As I travel across this land, I have the pleasure of finding GREAT hidden away, off the grid types of places- This IS one of them! I stopped in, not expecting much, but I was surprised and overwhelmed...great people, atmosphere, coffees, and pastries...Do NOT kid yourself- the frosting on the cinammon (spelling??) rolls is NOT fat free! I was able to just chill, get some work done, and have some friendly chats with the locals...all in all, its what a coffee House should be, and DEFINITELY is on my list of places to stop when in the neighborhood...I look forward to my next visit. If the owners get a chance to read this, I have but two suggestions to work for that fifth star... 1.) Get free WiFi...it is pretty much a 'given' everywhere, so come into this millineum... UPDATE: In the spirit of fairness and accuracy, they DO have WiFi...just ask and search for it!!! 2.) You are closed on Sunday- wtH?? On Sunday morning, there are few finer pleasures than a cup of coffee in good company either before or after Church.. I get it, being the Sabbath Day and all, but still...hire athiests if you have to! UPDATE: I had a nice chat with the staff, and they say that Sundays are not done because its Sunday and there is low traffic in the area...to the locals, I say, "If you visit and ask, smart owners will follow!" Sunday coffee here is in YOUR hands, good citizens of Norfolk!! - I AM Ed Burton, and I approve this message.. read more

This place is awesome! The whole atmosphere makes this place a 5 star stop. The feel of the inside and outside seating is very casual, comfy, and cool. The back patio is awesome! The barristas are super nice. The treats are pretty good, as is the coffee. They only serve non-fat, soy, or 1/2&1/2 (kind of funny options if you ask me), which are kind of odd options... read more

The girls working were fantastic, friendly and gave a warm welcome. Place is really cozy and relaxing. Coffee was great (16oz breve Vanilla latte) and I also had a croissant breakfast sandwich which was fantastic. As you walk into Downtown Coffee company you are greeted by the lovely smells of coffee, pastries, and friendly people. I have been coming here since I was I high school and it has been my safe-heaven away from all the stresses in life. Down Town Coffee Company has a magical way of making you loose track of time, in a good way. The ambiance is quiet and comfy, a perfect combination for getting lost in a book. In addition to the lovely ambiance the coffee and pastries are divine. The only compliant I have is the weekend hours. Downtown Coffee Company really needs to consider being open on Sunday and open later on Saturday, Yours Truly, Karlie Kudrna read more

Place is great - everything you'd want in coffee shop. Great outdoor patio. But please - seriously expand your hours on weekend. Closed at 2p on Saturday? And not open on Sunday at all? Coming from Omaha - can't ever go here!!!! Please expand weekend hours - customers want to visit. read more

Love the atmosphere of this downtown coffee house! The chicken salad croissant is amazing and always fresh!

Great atmosphere. Average food. The spiced chai tea latte wasn't anything special, nor was the beef dip sandwich. The beef dip sandwich with the speci dressing and coleslaw was also average. I'd give them another chance and try their coffee and baked goods, but not lunch. read more

What a coffee shop should be. Warm quiet atmosphere good coffee and fresh food. Had the veggie omelette. Very good. We'll be back!!!

Atmosphere was great, waitress wasn't great. Food was fresh except the bagels and croissants were a little stale, but considering that it's not New York, but Nebraska, you really can't complain about bagels. read more

This place has a cute and welcoming atmosphere and nice people however they completely botched our order. I ordered a tea latte and just got got tea. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and they gave me jalapenos, which almost killed me since my tolerance for spice is non exsistent. When they went to fix it, they gave me the same sandwich with red peppers but the jalapeno seeds were still on the sandwich. I gave up. read more

A quaint coffee shop located in the middle of busy downtown Norfolk. This shop has booths to stay cozy in, or tables to hold a business meeting.
