I have to give a huge thank you to our amazing team: Liz, our Coordinator; Nestor, our Banquet Captain; Chef Ben; and the wonderful office team--Tamica, Davina, Kali, Joanne, and Jaedon. Every single person played a part in making our experience so special, from the planning process all the way through our wedding day. As the bride, I worked especially closely with Liz on the day of the wedding, and oh my gosh! she was truly a blessing! She helped with so many details, even helping me with my dress. She went above and beyond and made sure I didn't have to worry about what was happening behind the scenes. I was able to be present, enjoy my wedding, and take everything in. My day felt perfect, and she played such a huge part in that. Nestor and the banquet team were wonderful, Chef Ben did an amazing job with the food, and our guests had nothing but great things to say about both the food and the venue. We also chose some of the vendors recommended through Wedgewood, and they were incredible. DJ Sunshine with Maestro Entertainment did an amazing job, and Annie from Little Blue Hummingbird Florist absolutely blew me away. The flowers were breathtaking! Everything was so beautiful and came together perfectly with the vision I had for our wedding. Seeing the florals on the actual wedding day was one of those moments where I just thought, WOW! Every vendor we worked with was professional, easy to work with, and helped make the entire experience come together beautifully. I called a couple of places in the area super last minute (we decided to get married and set the date two weeks later) which didn't give us a ton of options. With that being said, a quick google search brought up the wedding center and I was blown away by the pictures and availability. The evening I called to inquire about dates, everyone was extremely helpful and dedicated to finding the right time/date. Once we found one that worked, we booked and payed everything. We also ordered the photo package which is DEFINITELY worth it, my family and friends enjoyed the ceremony without worrying about pictures. To say everyone cried is an understatement. Our officiant was the best and truly spoke to everyone in the ceremony and it resonated beautifully. The photographer spent a good amount of time making sure we got a photo with everyone and accommodated any picture requests. I cannot reiterate that the location has everything already set up. You walk in and everything is perfect. That took so much worry off of everyone and we really enjoyed the experience. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Also price was perfect! It was the first and only venue we toured, and we never looked back. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, the staff are incredible, and the entire experience from start to finish was seamless. Just south of their building they have a parking lot which is pretty smart and decent for a lot of cars to be locked in. If you end up, leaving your car and you pick it up the next day. They open the gates at 9am. The church used to be a Presbyterian, and has been around for 100 years. It is clearly well taken care of and very beautiful. We first met with Amanda, who assisted us with pulling the trigger with setting a date. Their packages are very affordable and include everything. From the design of your table arrangements, to the choice of your flowers, to what you want your guest to eat and drink. You even get a DJ included in the package. Oh! I can't forget about the cake from Torrance Bakery! Our next meeting was with Madi, who moved us along with the specifics and locked things down further into place. Fumi was the one who got us across the finish line on the day. She was there for us during the rehearsal and got our wedding party in line for everything to be perfect. Both the Atlantic room, and the bridal suite were really nice. After we tied the knot, we went and had a couple of drinks brought by Fumi, and cocktail snacks from our dinner captains Samantha and Kelli. It was a slightly warm day, but the AC units were working really good when it came down to taking photos with our family and friends. We moved on into the hall where it was beautifully decorated, and also well air-conditioned. We had a set up for 90 people, and dinner service went perfectly. Table by table people went and got food. Our dinner captains brought ours. Slices of beef, garlic, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, crispy chicken pieces, cheese, tortellini, and a roll. It was all delicious. I wish I had had more but my wife and I were the show. lol. Drinks are always brought to us and special thanks to Chelsea for taking care of our family and friends at the bar outside. They have four bar tables and a patio set to sit in for six. We decided to have the dancing up on the stage where Gio played some great music for us. The party can go on as late as 11 at this place, so don't expect to go into the morning hours of the next day. Also want to give thanks to the chefs Ben, Fancie and David for all the good food they brought out for everyone and the Wedgewood team for the amazing setup they put together from start to finish.
