At the beginning of the eviction, the staff responded to my email with a very lengthy description of the eviction process and the numerous possible outcomes that could occur. After that, they kept me in the loop throughout the entire process, both with the actual court paperwork as well as explanations of why the paperwork was being forwarded to me. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I was not asked to write this review but felt compelled to share my experiences since I'm sure there are others in the same position looking for help with such a painful issue to deal with.

Well, Ms Gottes flat-out told me she couldn't answer my questions about a conservatorship, because she would only receive $25 from MetLife! She would need to spend much more time and review documents if I wanted to proceed. Wow-- how unprofessional. It shows that the stereotypes of lawyers is correct, they are only concerned about money. Ms Gottes-- I was not asking for a review of documents, I had only a few specific questions to get some direction. If you had actually let me speak, you would have understood that. If you are only concerned about getting paid and not about serving others, then I recommend you no longer contract with MetLife. I had a right to a consult with you. I also will recommend that maybe it's time for you to retire, if you're not interested in listening to and helping others.

She failed to show up!! When I called her office directly after the postpone court date. For receptionist claim that she been in an accident was in the hospital. I called the hospital who told me that she normally was there but they never heard of her before. Come to find out the woman has an illegal drug problem it was aiding and abetting a felon her boyfriend actually. I called her probably 40 or 50 times trying to get my money back. On one occasion her boyfriend began threatening me through text. Pretty sure it was just miss Famino. I promised her that I would continue to write reviews about her until I got my $1,000 back. Not sure if it's still on drugs but she's failed to even correspond with me about the money she owes me.

Guess she just stuffed them in an envelope and threw them in the mail because now, 2 months later my family member has still not received the papers. And they were being sent in state. Should have taken 5 days at the most. So I finally instructed her to email the docs, which she did but we still don't have the ones that she supposedly sent by mail. She did not send them certified which I would think should have been done since the information is very confidential. When talking to her about this matter which I mentioned 3 times to she and the assistant...neither one seemed concerned at all. And why should she, it's not her private information that's out there floating around in mail heaven someplace. Debbie even told me I needed to go track down the envelope and my response was, " well how do you do that when all you did was stuff them in an envelope and throw it in the mailbox!" There's no tracking number. I have since then heard from 2 deed scammers that wanted me to pay for a copy of my new deed which in questioning Debbie's assistant, Emily, was told not to pay and oh, those are just scammers!! Then I've just noticed a new advertisement on tv that's spouting about protecting your property deed by buying their insurance...another scam? So would I use her again if the need arose...NEVER!!! And I believe I paid her good money for the few papers that she had to collect and get them to the county. Guess they charge big bucks for hourly service, and the service sucked. My original papers should have been sent certified mail and any professional person would have done that!

Dealing with any legal matter is stressful, but a real estate dispute can be especially overwhelming. When I found myself dealing with a complicated real estate transaction, I spent months researching and interviewing different attorneys before ultimately deciding to hire Brewer Offord & Pedersen. My case involved multiple parties, including professionals who I believe failed to disclose important information during the purchase of my home. Before hiring anyone, I spent countless hours researching California real estate law, trying to understand my options and find an attorney who actually specialized in real estate litigation, not just real estate transactions. During my search, I came across Brewer Offord & Pedersen's YouTube channel. Adam Pedersen has an extensive library of videos covering California real estate disputes, failure to disclose, and other real estate litigation topics. I honestly learned more from one of his one-hour videos than I did from weeks of searching online. It gave me enough confidence to schedule a consultation. One thing that stood out immediately was that the consultation wasn't a sales pitch. By then, I had already spoken with several firms offering "free consultations," and many of them felt more focused on signing me than understanding my case. Adam and Dan took the time to explain the strengths and weaknesses of my situation and gave me realistic expectations from day one. Adam doesn't tell you what you want to hear--he tells you what you need to hear, and I respected that. I ended up working with the firm for almost two years. It wasn't an easy journey. While working with him on my claim I came to realize that he possesses a wealth of knowledge about the workers compensation system and always had an answer to any questions or concerns I had. Ben is still diligently working on getting me a lifetime award through another type of claim he filed on my behalf because of the accumulation of injuries I sustained over my 30 plus years with my employer. Unlike the negative reviews that are out there, I can't imagine nor did I ever experience Ben not following up with me after I contacted him or him giving any type of bad advice. I would not give any weight to what was written that is not positive about him. Some people are just unhappy no matter what transpires.
