I love this place and these people. I have been coming here for almost two decades. They have furnished a third of my house. It is the coolest form of recycling if you ask me. Many auctions have been like a history lesson, a celebration of life. Also a place to get cool rare gifts. One time I got a real beaver fur top hat. You can't get this stuff in the mall. Great people, and very knowledgeable. The space is large and the auctions are always well organized. The items are presented very well, and it's easy to see everything. THE WORST. Spoke with them over a month ago about a collection of items in a house I was selling. They came by, poked around, committed to taking everything and said to call when we were ready to have things picked up. When I called (after the house had sold) they said they had decided against the lot and had no explanation for why they said "yes" earlier. They refused to acknowledge that they had already committed to this and told me to let them know when they could pick up the items. Now I have to start from square one when I could've dealt with this a month ago. Terrible thing to do to someone in the middle of a pandemic! read more
