Double Dave's is one of those old favorites back in college. Over time different locations have gone up and down. This one turned out great on Thursday lunch time. This place had the buffet running. Most are not running a buffet anymore which is unfortunate. Cost was $14 no drink. Dang, back in the day it was $5 with a drink. I started off with a nice simple salad. Mom always told me to eat my greens even if its a salad. I like rabbit food. The main attraction why I was there....pizza roles. I ate well too many and they tasted just as good as the old days. I did try a bite or two of some of the pizza and that was just filler. Think frozen quality. Like I said, pizza roles are why you are there. Would come back for the buffet next time in town.

First & foremost I'm truly thankful that they were open as we experience this winter storm! Secondly it was nothing short of amazing! Ordered the philly & Buffalo chicken subs, a medium meateater and 2 orders of wings and each item was great. The highlight was the Buffalo Chicken sub..the best sub I've had hands down. The wait was reasonable and the staff was friendly considering the line and the mini disaster we were facing.

This is how my small pizza arrived. Did the driver take a slice or was this Joe it left the restaurant? Either way not pleased at all!

Super disappointed in the pizza, although I only have myself to blame from ordering from them instead of Marco's or even Dominos! Small pizza looked like there was a slice missing (check picture for example) and it was cold and nasty I won't be ordering from here again!

I had a large take-out order that consisted of 16 or 17 pizzas. The managers worked with me and were very friendly, and the pizzas were ready on time. I would definitely order from them again and highly recommend them for large orders. I have also had pepperoni rolls from Double Daves, which are very delicious.

Great pizza buffet. Pizza of the month is always something funky and delicious!! Wish they had fed a bit more garlic but that's my personal preference.

First timer! Said it would be delivered in 45 minutes and got here in 35. The veggies are crunchy and fresh. The crust doesn't have much flavor but it is soft and delicious. I forgot to take a picture until halfway through it. Definitely have a new pizza place to go to. Four stars only because the crust would be perfect with garlic seasoning or something on top.

    $25 !!!

I got the thin & crispy supreme which was actually really good . My problem is charging $25 for a pizza that I polished off myself . There was NO one in the restaurant when I picked up my pizza and now I understand why . It's simply unaffordable .

We ordered the pizza of the month The bacon Mac and cheese unfortunately it was not cooked all the way so we had to toss it and make nuggets and Mac for the kids instead

    Mild bone in wings.

The wings were small and barely had any meat on them and we're covered with a thin breading that just tasted like old fryer oil. Could not taste any sort of wing sauce on them at all. Ordered them extra crispy and they came soggy. Ate a couple but couldn't stand the taste and had to throw the rest out.The blue cheese was in with the wings and got hot, Yum. The pizza dough was flavorless and barely cooked. The pizza had little to no sauce on it I actually had to peel back the toppings to see if there was any on it at all. A total waste of money. Pretty sure I have had better pizza at a gas station. If I could give them zero stars I would.

buffet....we showed up at 1:20 pm and the buffet ended at 2:00 pm and fresh pizzas kept coming out....

We showed up 35 minutes before they end this buffet, usually this is a big nono for a buffet, fresh stuff quits hitting the buffet line...not so at Doubledave's, fresh pizza and pizza rolls and desserts and calzones kept showing up, they put out a varied and yummy selection.

Great for the half price Pepperoni rolls on Tuesday and the buffet lunch. Not my favorite pizza overall but everyone here is very nice.

It was just iceberg lettuce with croutons and dressing in the side. The build your own pasta dishes were fantastic! The service was not great however, and this wasn't a unique experience as we've been here before and experienced poor service. Our waitress started out attentive but after our appetizers came, she didn't come back for about 15-20 mins to take our order. Our main dishes took about 30 minutes to come out. Once they did we never saw our waitress afterwards. We waited about 30-45 more mins and then we finally went to go find her to ask for to go boxes and the check. All in all we were there for about two hours, but not for good reason. I think this place has great potential, they just need to better train their staff to be more attentive.

I order the same 2 items from Palermo, lasagna and a pizza either ricotta, fennel sausage and pepperoni. I should have known that my food would be subpar when they had to check if they were still taking to go orders at 5:00pm. My spouse picked up the order so had no idea of what to expect but when they got home not only was there no bag with bread and Parmesan cheese, I just knew it was a show. Why is there cheese wiz on top of the pizza, why is the food cold and where is the bread etc. Palermo, you should absolutely be ashamed of your restaurant. If you can't do it right because you're closing, say that. But don't sell BS on a platter for $50 and expect a customer to just take it. No I will not be returning, an absolute waste of a drive and money. Do better.

We went in to grab dinner and were told that it was a 1.5 hours wait...yikes! Izzy, the hostess, said she would ping us if a table came open earlier. Fortunately, the table did free up earlier. Apparently, this location was chosen for a pre-prom dinner as high school students streamed through the restaurant in formal length gowns...glitter, draw strings, and shiny. The interior feels elevated with lots of wood and floor to ceiling glass windows. The presentation on the table was appealing with white linen tablecloths, shiny utensils and sky-blue glasses. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Our server, Chelsey, was super bubbly and upbeat. My friend ordered a meatball and polenta appetizer as she was not feeling too hungry. We probably clocked 4-5 miles walking the Square and side streets, so I was ravenous. I ordered the Cesar salad and Italian sausage & salami pizza. The pizza was amazing! The Italian sausage was flavorful and well-prepared. The salami was thinly sliced and importantly, not greasy at all. At this juncture, we were pretty full, so we only ate two slices of the pizza. The hubs lucked out on great leftovers. Excellent food...excellent fellowship
