Double T what has happened in the past couple of years? My family and I have been coming here for over 20 years. We have enjoyed this diner for those years but lately they have gone down hill. My husband and I came in tonight for Mother's Day. Our server was super sweet but not very attentive. We were sat immediately and our order was taken super fast. Our food came out quickly but I ordered the Philly chopped steak which was on the dry side and the loaded baked potato was dry. The cheese a little burnt and the bacon was fried way too hard. My husband was never offered a refill on his tea. Once our food came out our server never came and checked on us. When she did I asked for a box and the check and it took her about 15 minutes to bring both. It also seemed like since it was Mother's Day they were offering all the women a slice of cake. I was never offered. I really used to like this place but tonight's dinner and several other visits have really made me rethink liking this place. read more

I was at the diner yesterday 5/11/23 the food was awful I got the Greek platter the chicken was so dry it was like sawdust, the Greek sauce tasted like blue cheese and ranch dressing combined, you couldn't even eat the salad it was nothing but brown lettuce and feta cheese. I got a hamburger to go I ask for med raw it was like a hockey plug, the beef veg. soup should have been called carrot and celery soup. This will be the last time my friend and I will ever order anything beside breakfast if we ever come back again. You should be ashamed to say you serve Greek food. Came here for lunch with my sister , we got chicken rice soup and a Tuscan salad , with Italian dressing . The soup was excellent not greasy . The Tuscan salad was big enough to split . The salad had chicken mushrooms peppers onions and Greek olives . The server was very pleasant and accommodating. This was a great experience. read more

Absolutely not worth the price! If I'm paying $17.79 for a Greek platter, I expect a little more than what I received. The moussaka had no sauce on it and the spinach pie just tasted like onions. The worst part was the server M.P. When I asked for my Greek salad, the he said "That's how it comes, the feta cheese is the salad" He was in such a rush that it was hard to flag him down. I had a roasted half chicken with stuffing's, with a veggie soup and salad. All of that came with 2 more sides so I had baked potato and green beans. Green beans were not so good, I would have liked it to be green and crunchy. But rest of the food was nice. A huge meal for a reasonable price. read more

One of the better double T franchises here on Ebenezer Road. Correction, this is the best double T been to so far. Our server Rocky was fantastic. He had what many servers lack, a sense of humor. He was courteous, quick, thorough and of course funny. We teased him throughout the evening and he gave it right back to our group. The food was fresh, hot and the order was correct. And the most important part of the evening was of course our desserts. This is where they beat the other diners. They have a excellent and wider dessert selection than their other locations. And extremely fresh desserts though they lacked French apple pie to the dismay of our eldest member. One thing they could do to differentiate themselves from other diners is take their old smoking room and convert it into a vaping room. They would make a fortune doing so. The staff here clearly loves their jobs. That is directly reflected in the service they provide to their guest. Our group goes to about 50 or more diners a year on Saturday nights. This particular double T diner falls into the top five as does our server Rocky. read more

Solid diner with breakfast served all day. Had the bacon, tomato, cheese omlette, home fries, and a short stack of banana pancakes. The omlette and potatoes were OK, could have used some salt since both were kinda bland. The pancakes were really good; fresh bananas inside the pancake, not on top. I came to the Double T today because the person who answered the phone at Silver Moon gave me a little attitude when i asked if they had breakfast all day , it was a of " course we do dumbass " kind of answer . In the Covid world nothing is a for sure thing. I got a take out order ,things couldnot have been any better. Great lunch with friendly staff. Fish and Pastrami Rueben pennies that came with a cup of soup, navy bean and chicken rice. The soup was very flavorful and filling. Absolutely ridiculous that pending who the waiter is if reservations are allowed. I came with a party of six needing a table because of the limited number of accommodations over seating for four we were told we had to wait. Yet there was a table available but after standing for a twenty minutes we requested a table and was told it was reserved. We said they don't take reservations. However for certain people they do.... Random drive by after landing to bwi late. Only thing open i can find in maryland driving up to Pennsylvania. The service was slow, and the food uninspiring. I ordered the romanian steak which seems to be a flat iron steak. The meal however was very filling and came with lots of sides,( soup, salad) The desserts looked good but i didn't try it. read more

My husband and I are regulars here. It is our go-to spot for mornings on our days off together. He loves breakfast and I love lunch so it's great that we can get either at our usual arrival time of 11ish. (I'll admit that sometimes they see us again for dinner the same day!) We are creatures of habit and have regular menu items we order. The triple decker sandwiches, eggs platters, salads, burgers and paninis are our regular choices and never fail to please. (To be perfectly honest, I am not a huge fan of their pasta dish sauces as they are often bland, but the menu is plenty large enough to avoid these and stick with the better dishes.) The prices here are reasonable and you get a large amount of food for the money. The chicken noodle soup is outstanding and lucky for me soup comes with most of the lunch menu items! Almost all of the wait staff are excellent but my husband and I always ask to sit in server Joey's section....he is the best! He is polite and attentive. We stopped here on the way to Pennsylvania and it was pretty packed. The service was good for how busy it was and everyone was super nice! The prices are pretty decent too. The dining room is large and spacious. I thought the food was pretty average, nothing great at all. It did its' job, but I thought it was pretty bland overall. I had the avocado, bacon, and potato bowl with cheese. Maybe it was just what I had, but it was flavorless and nothing exciting. Dbl t breakfast special. 2 small pieces challah toast, scrambled eggs no seasoning , 2 pcs bacon, 2 pcs huge delicious sausage links hash browns not browned no flavor, chocolate brownie cheesecake and 2 glasses black iced coffee. Used to eat there 3x weeks. Now not so much. Once weekly. Servers go not wear gloves. They clear tables and Aldo serve food no gloves. Instead of using new glasses for drinks or new coffee cups used ones are reused. Or sanitary. Always tip. Will revisit next week. read more

On a road trip through the Baltimore area, we stopped for lunch at the Double T Diner. The first thing you notice inside the door was a case of beautiful, mouth-watering desserts. (More on those later) If you're in the area, this diner is definitely worth the stop. Don't be intimidated by the large menu, the friendly servers are happy to assist, and the food is way more creative than your typical diner fare. The menu was extensive, but we settled on 3 dishes starting Maryland crab: Macaroni and Cheese with Crab Balls, Fried Soft Crab sandwich, and The Chesapeake Benedict (eggs Benedict with crab cakes.) The food was all very good, especially the crab soup and crab balls. The hollandaise on the Chesapeake Benedict was just ok, but the crab cakes were excellent. The real star of the meal, though, was dessert! After much deliberation we ordered Blueberry cheesecake, Canoli Cake, and a "chocolate triangle." The cheese cake was light but rich and creamy. The cannoli cake was moist with a creamy cheesecake-like filling, and the chocolate triangle was a nice balance of light and rich elements. All three came in huge portions with the type of presentation you would expect from a much pricier restaurant, and best of all they were all less than $5 a piece. read more

Service was awesome, no long waiting for seating or food. Menu has so many options, food was plentiful and we loved the cream of crab. Considering all the upticks in costs, less quality and bad service we have been experiencing elsewhere, we were pleased with our visit Sunday, 8/7. There is also plenty of parki g at this location. As we came in an elderly couple told us the food was excellent. So we said let's go. We both ordered turkey dinners. Gravy was all wrong, they put chicken gravy on and it not turkey gravy. The portion was huge however the stuffing was raw and gummy. Turkey was fine but they had no cranberry sauce with the meal! You got s salad to which was very poor and lacked enough dressing. Lettuce was brown And wilted. The entire restaurant seemed to cater to the 70 plus crowd so we 50 year olds stood out. Waitress was nice decor nice and reminded us of our jersey dinners. read more

Ooof. Forget the gyro... the strangest formed meat sliced thick and tasted like it was prepackaged and microwaved. My wife's chef salad and my side Greek salad were also not fresh and tasted like they'd been under plastic wrap for a while. The burger was over cooked and poor quality too. One of my kids had pancakes that were outstanding compared to the rest of our meals. Also, the cheesecake was excellent and they had many other pretty good looking desserts. If the service wasn't good, which it was fine, I'd recommend closing the rest of the kitchen and just doing dessert. I mean burgers, salads, gyros... that's basic diner stuff. This place was very good. Clean and efficient. Food was excellent too. The club was excellent as was the drink and fries. The portion was huge and the prices were very nice. I found a piece of metal scrubbiest in my crab soup, which was included in my meal. I got the Buffalo chicken wrap. They took the metal and spoke a foreign language then came and asked if I wanted more? Which was... certainly not! I then received my meal which was ok, but left me wondering what was going on with the rest of my meal? No manager ever came over to apologized for the incident, just our server whom informed us that they had reduced our bill by $6. Which was about half price. I'm sorry that wasn't good enough. I had to pull that metal out of my throat and if I had swelled it could have punctured my intestines causing sepsis. I then had my whole meal comped but not my boyfriends and they acted as if I was stealing food out of their mouths!!! We tipped our server appropriately as it wasn't his fault, but management needs to better handle patron interactions that could have caused serious injury!!!! read more

Don't waste your money. Went here for breakfast this morning and found a fly cooked in to our pancakes. Brought it to our servers attention and she brought the fly immeditately to management. She was apolegetic and brought us our check and informed us management was made aware and would take care of it. Got up to the cashier and was asked to pay full price. When I inquired why I would pay full price for something we were not able to eat , she said uhhoh and took an arbitrary 4 dollars off the check. No apology, no nothing. Even though this diner is low on the number outlets available and they have no wifi available, the servers are friendly and have a big menu with the common diner food you come to expect. They are open late. They have booths, a bar and tables. This is a local social hangout as well. read more

I was on my way home from a long all-day meeting in Gaithersburg, MD. My colleague and I decided to stop for dinner and chose to get off I-95 and look around rather than go for the slop at the Maryland House or the Chesapeake House. We happened upon the Double T Diner, right off the White March exit. Being from NJ, we are diner-savvy and hoped this one would be similar to what we were accustomed to. The Double T did not disappoint. Every type of food imaginable was on the menu; I don't know how these places do it. I was not very hungry so I opted for soup and salad. All the salads came with complimentary soup, so I hit the jackpot - soup of the day was split pea, one of my favorites, and Cesar salad, all for $6.95. The salad was so large my jaw was tired from chewing before I could finish it. I have always been a fan of diners, mostly reliable, reasonably priced. I am a frequent traveler to the Beltway area and have often just driven home hungry rather than eat one of those pre-wrapped Roy Rogers sandwiches under the heat lamps at the rest stops, and for fear of getting off I-95 and not finding anything. The Double T in White Marsh is in just the right spot, just at the point where I need a break from driving. I'll be back, I'm sure. read more

So what do I do when I get off work at 8 pm, decide to take a nap and then eat dinner? My options are seriously limited - good thing Double T Diner is open 24 hours! They have a very extensive menu ranging from breakfast items, sandwiches, and dinner entrees. Their omelets are large and use fresh ingredients. I also tried their spanakopita the other day and the portion was once again huge. The crust was flaky and the insides were tasty. Service is okay to good depending on the person. They aren't hovering but still give you attention once in a while. If you go after 11pm, they automatically tack on an 18% service charge. read more

Was coming back from a weekend with my family up north! My pops mentioned we should stop by this place he had heard about called Double T Diner! So we stopped by immediately upon entering the diner it transports you back in time to a different era! It really is like a old school diner! Walk in to a case full of desserts! This is my first review, but so far it's above average. After finding my work location and getting lost (one reason I came a day early!) I stopped in here on the way back. I ordered the Western omelette with turkey bacon and they were happy to oblige. That and a cup of tea makes a great breakfast combination.
